This gets said literally every year and by the time the draft rolls around they've picked enough holes through the prospects to decide the following year is the best QB class.  I do love Williams and Ewers, but Stroud/Young probably comparable talents in reality.

His age is definitely a factor, he’ll be 25 before he sets foot on an NFL field and a team with a top 10 pick can’t afford to let him to develop for two years because by then he’s already 27, the team that drafts Hooker is most likely looking for a backup.

As a Tennessee fan I love Hooker but I do think a lot of what he does is propped up by the offense we run which makes it easy on him.  I dont notice the same  ball placement I do with Young/Stroud when watching him play.  He's a guy I think goes on day 2 and ends up being a really successful backup spot starter as he definitely has the mentality and drive to be successful.

True, but I can find a more glaring holes in Stroud’s and Young’s game (really no fault of their own as one is size and the other is system) than I can find in Williams’, Ewers’, and Maye’s.

I’ve seen comparison’s to Brissett which seem fairly accurate.

I just think give them enough time and the holes will start to show more, ewers has played like five games total for example.  Though Caleb Williams is very very good I cant argue that.

QBs always get over analyzed and the more tape they have in college the more holes get poked, it’s the main reason why Herbert went after Tua instead of before. People docked his skill set from tape in a bad offense System.

100%, I would say i'm just thankful we bottomed out this year and not last year.  That would have been brutal for us.

Same thing happened to Watson. He fell to 12 because there was just so much familiarity with him that people talked themselves out of it.

Peyton was talking up the fact that NO was going to draft Mahomes but he passed on Watson and went with Lattimore.

      His first season. I saw it with my own eyes, others saw it too. Old man Dalton had to come in to make the throw. I watch every game. You must of just missed it. He had another chance a couple of weeks ago from the 50 and didn't even attempt to throw it to the endzone....cause he cant.

      I would say if they put Corbett back at center, that would be evidence of some kind of favoritism thing going on.  I would have to ask if our coaches are leaders of men.  So they bet not do some stupid stuff like that.  It would be one thing if Corbett had pedigree at the position, a probowler.  This dude has never been a good center in the slightest, and only looked decent at the guard position in the past. (Which I don't believe he ever had a fully healthy season as a Panther)    So this shouldn't even be a discussion if you're the coaches.  But again, Corbett never should have been the starter in the first place.  I know we're armchair coaching when it comes to these things, but before the season, I was rooting for Mays to win the position.  The guy played a key role in Bryce's surgence last year.  Why mess up that combination?  And they did mess up the combination by making Corbett the starter.  It could be we might of won against the Jags had Mays been the starter. (Yes, I believe it was that critical)  We know Mays went in late against the Cards, where Bryce began looking better at the end. (Though the Cards played soft coverage)  So all these things says Cade Mays is the better center for the team.  Yet certainly he is the better center for Bryce if nothing else.

      He was our best YAC guy in 2023 and 4th in 2024(behind Hubbard, Sanders, Coker). He was a great and productive WR for us because he knows how to play the game, he had a connection with Bryce specifically and our other options have largely been atrocious.
