I’m not joking in the least bit when I say this, but I am seriously considering not even following this team or football anymore. I’ve been a fan since 2011 and all the emotional roller coasters and feeling of hopelessness just isn’t worth the handful of times we might make the playoffs and the once in a 20 year super bowl loss.

I truly think that destiny is destiny and this team is and will never be destined for consistent greatness and I just have to start reevaluating of its worth the time and elements energy anymore

So, you weren’t here for 2001 or 2010? Yeah, it’s not for the faint of heart, my dude

I’m ready to change the mascot. Maybe even burn the stadium to the ground and build a new one. This team needs a complete enema

I thought the exact same thing.  I love the Panthers moniker but lets face it....their aren't even Panthers in NC.  Gotta ditch the black cat.

I think many of us are having similar thoughts. The amount of joy this team delivers pales in comparison to the pain. Honestly I wish the Panthers would just cease to exist. I’d be a lot happier in my life.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
