People will always let perfect get in the way of good. Human nature.

The best QB’s to ever play the game throw pick 6’s.

I know it’s a platitude, but the other guys really are professionals too. Sometimes they make a better play.

One outlier sure. Generally the QB's throwing the most pick six throws are not going to be perennially contenders I think we can agree on that yes?

Pretty much the same player. Good enough to win a few games, but also remind you why they’re not a franchise QB due to inconsistency .

PJ is a solid backup but just like first half today he will not be able to carry this team into the future.   He has limitation in seeing the field and missing wide open throws.

When has Heinicke ever thrown the ball 60 yards in the air   Not RAC. Air  yards and completed it

You stay waiting to jump in any discussion I'm in trying to score points. It's flattering but I feel bad for you that you're this invested in it. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings so badly in a previous discussion. One day I hope you'll be able to recover psychologically 🙏

I think you are reaching big time here. I don't believe there is a correlation between throwing pick 6s, and a team's record. You are going to have to show some evidence to back this one up.

Bad teams usually have bad QBs. Whereas good teams usually have good QBs. That is more a factor than pick 6s.

I don't think it says anything about them tbh. Jameis Winston and prime Peyton Manning are neck-and-neck for the single season record.

@frankw don't need no stinkin facts. He just makes stuff up as he goes along. He is the Captain Jack Sparrow of the Huddle.

Christ. People are so team and QB abused on this site, they'll ride with anything half way decent that comes along. You REALLY want PJ to be the face of this franchise? I mean, props to DJ for catching that ball, but if it weren't for that we would've lost even worse. PJ is above average. We need elite.

    • Just a winner? He went 6-9 last year. Just because a guy got carried to the SB by elite surrounding talent doesn't mean much. How did Nick Files pan out after catching lightning on a bottle?
    • Hurts is an elite threat with his legs though. He's gonna stress an opposing DC a lot more than Brock Purdy.
    • Um, no, just no. Bills, Chiefs, Chargers, Ravens, Bengals, Texans, Eagles, Commanders are 8 teams that it's not even a debate, they aren't trading their QB for Purdy. Patriots, Broncos, Titans, Giants, Bears, Vikings, Falcons are 7 more teams with QBs drafted in the last 2 years that also would rather stick with them than trade for Purdy as they all have more upside than he does. Lions, Packers, Cowboys, Bucs are 4 more that would likely keep their QB's as well, age aside for Goff, Dak, and Baker. Panthers and Colts are two teams in the same situation, QB's who have both struggled and shown flashes to where the teams probably stick with them because they drafted them, but in a re-draft of all QB's, they probably take Purdy over the guy they currently have. Jags, Cardinals, Dolphins, are 3 more with QB's who probably have a higher upside than Purdy but come with their own question marks, so debatable if they'd take Purdy over who they already have. That leaves Jets, Raiders, Steelers, Browns, Saints, Seahawks, and Rams. Rams would take him over Stafford for the future of course, but not for 2025, and I'd think the Seahawks would take him over Darnold, but honestly not sure if they would take him over Milroe at this moment as they really like his potential and have him for 4 years really cheap. That leaves 5 teams that I see who would absolutely take him over their current situation right now, and a handful of others who MIGHT take him over their current guy, a far cry from your 20.
