Why go for Russ when you can have Brady? Let’s get our new QB in the 6th/7th round!

Brunell Bulger Gannon Jake Delhomme Kurt Warner Theismann hell Brad Johnson NC native got a ring.

Then Bart Starr and Roger Staubach

They are all waiting to welcome Matt Corral to the club

With at top 5 pick you damn sure better believe he's the answer.  You pass on a generational talent at another position and you bomb with a pick from one to five, as a GM you and your HC aren't going to be around long.

yeah it sure worked out for Matt rhule, gotta play it safe, at the end of the day results are secondary to finding out whose to blame

Yeah we don’t need a Brad Johnson unless he brings that Buc defense with him. Nick Foles won a ring and will be available. Let’s just cut Corral and sign Foles and Flacco with your logic. Hell they are pocket passers too! Perfect!

Any of these 3rd rounders go on IR their rookie year and have the coach that selected them get fired midseason? I know Russ didn’t… (he is also a dual threat so be careful when you bring up his name)

I believe I will live till I am 80 years old.  But I won't know for sure until I actually do it.

The reality is, you pick the guy you think has the best shot at becoming an NFL star.  You hope that guy is more Peyton Manning and less Ryan Leaf.  But if it doesn't work out, you try again.

Fields was 17-28 which sounds good. But it was for a whopping 126 yards. Good for 4.4yds a completion. He ran for over 180yds. Sounds like a RB that can throw a little. lol at ppl that think this stat line proves he's turned a corner.

Running for more yards than you pass. Now that's the new NFL.

Lol at also passing for three touchdowns. His last last on fourth down hit his receiver in the hands and he just dropped it. The bomb the play before was clear pass interference and it didn’t get called adding to to incomplete passes. You sound more like a “looked at the stats guy” who didn’t watch the game when you write stuff like this.

and those touchdowns were dimes.

    • Here's a tough thread to watch through They have Levis and AR as well if you wish to go further into the thread
    • Let's hope so. He's basically said he's sort of an old school run first style coach despite being on the younger side.
