He's seen as a Day 2 guy now, but I think that after workouts and college all-star games, he'll be a fringe top-10/mid-1st guy and in the running for the 3rd QB off the board.

 

I think he's our guy.

I disagree. I refer to the UNC fans , not you in particular.  I don't know if you've made the negative post in the past.. but you can  go back to comments shortly after the App State game.  Even with Drake Maye, the fan base was making negative comments.  Drake Maye and his offense, receiving / running back / O line have been extremely good.. The defense has even had their moments of making key stops ,,  but there have been plenty of UNC fans trash talking this team.

I think they have a real chance to run the table.  Ga tech, NCSU, Clempson then  major bowl game ( If all the Jr an Seniors don't sit out waiting for the draft )

It's almost as if fans make some negative comments when certain aspects of the team are struggling in certain games even if the W-L record is really good and better than expected. Crazy. Are you new to sports?

      After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...

      My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
