Exactly. Thus far the ceiling for Rhule on his best day has been double digit wins over bad college teams and getting pounded by any legit team. So big 10 west title seems about right.

Which is a massive improvement for Nebraska. They just need to get out of the cellar. If they have to look for a new coach in 4-5 years because Rhule can't get them over the hump day least they'd be out of the cellar and more appealing to someone who might be able to get them over the hump. I mean, could Nebraska in their current state honestly expect to do any better than Matt Rhule?

Foley worked with Matt Rhule at Temple, Baylor and with the Carolina Panthers. He is the fifth assistant coaching hire who is reportedly joining Rhule's staff: Marcus Satterfield (OC), Evan Cooper (cornerbacks coach, recruiting coordinator), Terrance Knighton (defensive line assistant) and Corey Campbell (assistant strength coach)

Barthel was with us at one point but wound up let go quietly behind the scenes.

More significantly though, it likely means Jeff Nixon isn't going anywhere.

Not until the end of the season it appears. Then he along with a lot of other are going out the door.
