If I'm going to draft an inaccurate "physically talented QB," I'm pulling the trigger on Anthony Richardson in the 2nd. They both need development. I'd much rather develop a guy who does all of that stuff better than Will Levis.

There is no way a guy with that potential will slip to the 2nd.  But like you if it was between levis and ar I am rolling the dice on AR and praying.

These threads are perpetually ruined by college fan homers.

The people trashing him are largely hyping their own trash SEC QB's.

I am not sold on Levis either but the shade being thrown by Richardson or Rattler fans is laughable.

Ya'll need to take your dumb college fan hats off when it comes to the Panthers. None of us give a fug about taking a bunch of overrated or bad college players to pollute our roster from your schools.

Hook us up with some studs and that is great but we don't need any more Ben Boulware's, Elijah Hood's or whatever version of a not-NFL-caliber player that will get hyped in here to the nth degree by people that don't understand the NFL at all.

Preach. These dudes backing Richardson truly have no idea what they’re talking about. Florida fans need to worry about keeping their players out of jail, not whether their trash QB gets drafted.

If you are advocating for him to be drafted in the first you’re blind. He’s awful. If you’re not, I wouldn’t consider that “backing” and I would be confused as to why you’re quoting me.

I didn’t even realize Florida fans liked him until these threads started popping up.

The personal attacks on players or other posters in draft threads suck.

AR looks like he has tremendous potential but I've not watched enough college football this year to comment on consistency for him, or really any player.

I'm just excited to see who we take.  We are definitely adding a QB some place in the draft...

Malik Willis had/has great potential as a prospect and he fell to the 3rd just last year.  And that was in a bad QB class.  There's no telling what will happen.

He also got all the Senior Bowl fluff.

Yeah and there were people entertaining the thought of him being drafted in the top 10.  Then look what happened.

Conversely, I really wanted Jalen Hurts when he was coming out of college.  He was mocked as low as the 5th or even not being drafted by some places.  I figured he would be available for us to use a late pick on.  Then the Eagles fell in love with him and drafted him in the 2nd round.

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
