Absolutely no one believes Darnold can take over a game throwing the football.  That fact will remain regardless.  He can move the chains, maybe. But do not fall under the illusion that he will ever take over a game with throwing the ball. If we cannot run the ball we do not have a chance to win. It's that simple.

That's what I mean though. He's gonna have to do that if we're going to get anywhere.

We are not going anywhere.  We are just caught up an unfortunate series of events.  This team is just doing the best they can with what they have. It just not enough to win any games.  We have somehow managed to stay in the discussion for a playoff spot despite our intentions or abilities.

My only interest now is to watch who is fighting for a roster spot. In my mind the game outcome is predetermined before it starts. It has been all season.  If they win I take it in perspective and apply credit accordingly.  Either way, I still see a team that needs a lot of churn from top to bottom.

I have no more interest or curiosity in the Wilks experiment.

Barring a trip to the NFC conference championship, I'm just not interested in seeing anymore from this team with Wilks at the helm. Better than Rhule, yes. Not good enough.

Until we can hire a new breed of coach, I'm done with this team. No more getting outclassed, out coached, and out performed by bad teams.

Sorry (not) I have standards beyond "the players like him and he's a local product."

I want more for this team than Wilks can deliver.

You had me until this part. Bruh, you think we're a good team? lol We're also a bad team.

lol no i don't think we're a good team. i think we were set up to win that game against the steelers and should have won it based on what we had been seeing the past few weeks, but no...i don't think we're good. we got exposed yesterday. we're not just a QB away from being good, we're a good QB, good coaching staff, good TE, good WR, good depth at corner, and a few other pieces away from being good.

A team finally stopped the run and we were forced to pass. Darnold was having a good day and they still tried to force the run and shelter him. If we want to win out then we have to believe that Darnold can take over a game throwing the ball.

I think thats the point, the staff knows he cant do what we need him to do.  I mean its clear as day he fuging sucks.  For the past 3 games he has tried like hell to turn the ball over and has been saved by the grace of God, its just a matter of time

This is what it has come to. Trying to quantify Sams'  not throwing INTs with "Well he should have"?

Good one boss.

The dumb motherfuger fumbled on the goddamn goalline 2 games ago, he had 2 fumbles blown dead yesterday, one in the red zone.  Darnold is a walking turnover and its only a matter of time before it completely fugs us......again

but keep sucking darnolds dick, its funny to watch

Fair enough.. I also believe we should have beat the steelers. Unfortunately the 0-line decided to have a really bad day yesterday. Christiansen got exposed, cobertt as well. About the only one that did OK  was Bozeman. Even Ickey got punched in the mouf..

Darnold played a good enough game that we should have won with him.

Even after all this though, you can still make the playoffs.

Except for the fumble, which was a TD by the way. You are ranting like a lunatic over things that DID NOT HAPPEN.

Call me what you want. You use personal slurs all the time. It is like water off a ducks back anymore. You pooing all my posts is also fodder for my funny bone. I post as much as I can just to get you to poo my posts. I am using you for my own personal joy.

Maybe if you are this emotional over a FOOTBALL GAME, you might think about maybe, just maybe taking a break.

    • If the losses were him not stepping up in key situations then it'd be a disappointment.
    • I'm well versed in the minutiea of the Canes radio broadcast system... lol I've been back in WNC for about 15 years now. And, until very recently, we would only get Predators games on the RSNs out here. So, radio was the only option for me to keep up with the team. These were the dark years, too. Maybe, once a year, you'd get to see us get smashed on national TV by some original 6 powerhouse. If you were really lucky, Jeff Skinner would bless you with one of his absolutely stunning pirouette passes to nowhere, before Wardo toppled over off his head, giving up a goal on his 70th shot faced that night for an inspiring 1-0 loss. But, that story sounds a whole lot cooler when Chuck Kaiton is telling it to you in real-time with the raspy drawl of a calving heifer! Before TuneIn or the Canes apps even existed, I used to have to find the one spot out in the back yard, where the hills and trees parted just right, that I could pickup 730(?)AM The Buzz all the way out in Catawba county. I'd sit in the shadow of the mighty Appalachians, staring out at the stars and getting high with stray cats, while being serenaded by the worst hockey you've never seen played in your life. That all, finally, started to change around the time TD bought the team. Part of that is due to the new NHL TV contracts and the constant reorganization of the RSNs themselves. Part, was me breaking up with that feral cat and moving to LKN to escape all the painful memories. The march of progress, and all that... I will say though, as much as I've criticized Dundon and as much as I loathe the existence of billionaires on principle, he has done an exceptional job of improving the fan experience, on the whole. Working with the league to expand the coverage map and bringing in outdoor games and all-star weeks has been huge. But, improving the quality on the ice (and of the ice) for all levels of hockey across the state has been even bigger! I forgot where I was going with all this, but... I'll still never forgive him for retiring Chuck K, though! HEY, HEY, WHADDYA SAY!!!!
