Sam Darnold had the 13th worst QB win in NFL history if we measured passer rating

Anyone wondering if this is the worse QB win in NFL history it is not. A 0.0 rating in a win has been done 8 times prior, however this is the worst QB win as far as passer since Rex Grossman achieved a 1.3 QB rating on December 3rd 2006 vs the Vikings.

An ugly win counts just as much as a pretty win. Who cares what it looks like? A WIN is a WIN.

I just don't understand this. Who spends 4 hours watching their favorite team win a football game, then complains about how it was won?

We beat a Divisional rival, at their place, and only lost 1 spot in the draft doing so. Triple win.

By every conceivable metric Sam Darnold is not an NFL starting quality quarterback. It's plain to see in his career that he doesn't have it. The only people supporting him now are stubborn fans who dug their hole with blind support.

A lot of these same fans for some reason really hated Cam Newton.

There is a whole lot of wrong in this post. You'd be hard pressed to find many ppl who want to resign Sam. But it must be fun throwing that out there.

As to the Cam thing. Who you fishing for with that bait?

Remember when we had an MVP and even he couldn't do enough to convince some people he was a franchise quarterback? Standards around here are now below the Earth's crust. We desperately need a real quarterback and an enema for this fanbase.

You really do have no compunction at all about insulting, basically, the whole fanbase do you?

"Every conceivable metric" - except the ones from this season.

And before yesterday he had a string of games that made him one of the best QBs in the league. People have bad games. He should not be our starter ... but damn, some of you just can't let it go. It's like you're trying to prove Sam is bad. We know he is. Or, you want to stand on your soap box and go, SEE I TOLD YOU! But you're speaking to like ... 1-3 guys on here lol.

    • The #Panthers explored the possibility of adding Jaire Alexander, but there was never an offer made, a league source told @theobserver.   https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/1935436577649401872?s=46
    • Yes I agree, the future RT could easily be christ. When he shocking re-signed here for the cheap, he said part of the reason was the OL coaching staff.  I've already thought too much about 2026. The RT has all the options, including resigning Motown. I was never a big fan, but he's solid and peptides and stem cells can fix a gippy knee. If he makes it though this year and wants to return, why not for 2 years 16 million?? Or like you said give the job to Christ or draft your RT...... that I feel is the best current method. With both OGs in the 20 million per cap range and Icky......ooooooooooo boy he could be the first 30 million per OLmen in NFL history. That's a huge portion of cap space for the OL, which I agree with, but in order to offset those 20 and 30 million deals... you need cheap rookie contracts. (unless Motown would take a huge pay cut and whoever the C will be).  This is the deepest OL I can recall in Panthers history.  I believe Morgan should try and trade either Kingston or Zavala.  I didn't even talk about Yosh, Tarquin, or Walton. Yosh is same age as christ and why not him as RT after good swing tackle years? Tarquin is a UDFA on the prayer program, 150,000 in guarantees and why not him in 2026? Walton seems to be a OL coach favorite, he followed the Tampa Bay staff here after 2 years there and add in one year here, he's stuck around for some reason. I think they need to spend very light on RT and Panthers have lots of options, I love it.
    • That better not be the case. They need to be ready week 1. The easiest part if their schedule is the first few fames
