Rivera was 10th on the list of coaches who go for it on 4 and short when they should.  The bottom number is total times versus when it an advantage to do so.

Don't you get tired of being wrong all the time???

simply going for it on 4rth and short doesnt make you a aggressive coach

and if you read the graph thats really not what its saying either

You keep trying to make everyone wrong because they didn't value steichen instead of looking at the elephant in the room which is that things have to be a good fit and they weren't. Eventually we will find out more about what happened. Until then it is clear that he wasn't our guy and may or may not be ready to be a head coach. But until then, feel free to continue with your baseless comments and  speculation based on your agenda.

lol I don’t care who Dave tepper thinks which guy is the right fit

please continue to shill for the billionaire hedge fund manager a bit more though, I promise he cares nothing about you

It is listing the coaches who are  making the best choices when they decide to go for it. Going for it all the time and failing doesn't make you aggressive it makes you stupid. So yeah Rivera is not only aggressive but smart when he attempts it and has a good chance of success.

Bro you are really arguing that Ron Rivera is an aggressive coach.  I really cannot respond to that type of stupidity.  Really man

Of course you have no response since I just showed you the facts and it counters your baseless speculation. Your motto is always don't let the facts get in your way......

Billy marshall and Ellis absolutely unload on the hiring process and how absolutely moronic it was to simply dismiss him as a candidate from a bad zoom interview  What I was saying all along.  Absolute must listen about the process and the interviewing of DC's

starts around 30 minutes in

from the minute reich was fired in indy, he probably became the front runner for us. he checks all the boxes they were looking for:

1) offensive minded

2) experienced and successful HC (no learning curve)

3) local/panther ties

i don't think anyone else really had a chance. i think they were burned out relying on potential as a deciding factor because of rhule.

i just hope they are burned out on trying to make a QB reclamation project your starting QB.

Yeah, I think we were intrigued and tempted by young potential offensive wunderkinds, but ultimately after the Rhule flop I think Tepper wanted a safer alternative.

That's why I kind of expect a young potential offensive wunderkind at OC. It gives him the best of both worlds. Safer, more experienced HC with exciting potential at OC. We'll see...

To be fair, Steichen has not really generated near the buzz folks thought he would. Sure he has a second interview with the Colts, but that situation is a mess.

Agree with this, although I do think there's a notable difference between Rhule picking and coaching a retread, and Reich picking and coaching a retread. Maybe this is just me being optimistic, but I'd like to think if Reich signs one it'd just be to be a bridge QB and not a long term solution.
