Ok, so fill me in. I keep hearing that Favre stole welfare money.

How is that possible? Did he claim welfare and cash the checks?

From what I initially heard, he asked for some public funding for something and the governor/legislature said sure and then moved money from the welfare account to the account that paid for Farve’s thing.

Did Farve ask for or was aware that his funding came from welfare?

This is a bit personal for me, as I spent a lot of my childhood in Mississippi. I also know of Favres people. Went to school with some of them on the coast.

Hes trash. You don’t know how poor that state is until you actually go and spend some time there. He and the state are foul as hell. He won’t get punished like he should. Them good ole boys out there will do their best to limit damage to him

A worse heel turn than hogan to NWO.

Early on huge fan, he was a big country kid with a big arm. Took too many hits and got hooked on pills, I thought before he was tough as they came.

Then the whole retirement saga, that dropped him down several levels. Then the diva reports came out too.

Then the whole penis pic deal while married. -100 respect

Then he takes money from some of the poorest people in america, complete scum of the earth. Its like hes in race to be the worst human on the planet, Im awaiting his rape charges...

This probably could go in the unpopular opinion thread but...

In a battle for who is shittier, Pat and Bret could easily fight to a tie.  Wouldn't mind watching these two jocks sue each other into bankruptcy and irrelevance.  Not that Bret is particularly relevant these days.

What has McAfee done? I think he’s awesome and his show is way better than the trash being put on TV

Saw that too. He's gone from legend to laughing stock. Man speed run that poo

He's obviously going to lose unless Sharpe didn't use allegedly and depending on how the trial actually plays out. All involved are ofc going to bring it and not settle or back down so we'll see.

    • BPA in draft all the way. Address your biggest needs in free agency.
    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
