You might want to take a peek under the hood if you're going to go to bat for him and blame coaches or defense. He's played in 142 games in his career and through those he's amassed 179 combined interceptions and fumbles.

I'm not saying he doesn't hold a share of the blame. I'm saying to look at him and say he's why the Raiders only went to the playoffs once in 9 years is a very narrow minded way of looking at things. You have to look at the overall picture, not just playoff appearances.

We should all be able to recognize that QBs play a different sort of game, taking less risks, when they have a defense that is capable of holding a lead.  The record is clear, Carr has had horrible defenses his entire NFL career.

Posters who are unwilling to concede this point to Carr aren't willing to have an honest discussion.

I've said numerous times he's a good QB. You making excues for a QB that needs help around him to win.

Lamar Jackson has had the least weapons of any QB in the NFL. He still gets that team to the playoffs every year.

Burrow took a bad franchise and turned them into SB contenders overnight.

Trevor Lawrence same thing.

See the difference in the QB's. Nobody makes excuses when you have that legit franchise QB. Doesn't matter the team around them they just win games.

Carr just isn't on that level which is why he needs a "defense" as you said.

Woosh!  My comment about horrible defense seems to have gone right over your head.

The QBs on your list, ALL benefitted from having better defenses than what Carr has had for his entire career.

He doesn't get it.

Told Willy the same. He isn't up to having an adult football discussion. He wants Lamar Jackson and he'll adjust every fact to fit his narrative.

You're not having a football debate. You're arguing with a child who wants a toy that you won't buy them. Any and all logic will be responded to with "BUT I WANT IT!!!'

It's part of the reason why you keep asking questions that people have already answered numerous times, clearly showing that either you're not paying attention or you're just don't understand what people are trying to tell you.

Why are they still winning more games than Carr?

The Bengals and Ravens were ranked 7th and 11th in total defense, respectively. The Raiders were ranked 28th. The Raiders have been near the bottom of the league in defensive rankings for most if not all of Carr's career.

      Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is putting the league on notice early into his NFL career, and 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is well aware.  “I think he’s a stud,” Shanahan told reporters Thursday. “He’s going to be one of the best receivers in this league sooner than later. He’s got all the skill sets to do it, and I think he’s just getting started.”  Through 11 games played, McMillan has racked up 748 receiving yards on 54 receptions. He ranks sixth in the NFL in receiving yards and leads all rookies in the category.  Carolina selected McMillan as the No. 8 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. San Francisco had the 11th overall pick.  Did the receiver out of Arizona catch Shanahan’s eye in draft preparation?  “Yeah, big time,” Shanahan said.  Shanahan also said that he thought the receiver would be taken well ahead of the 49ers’ draft position, but the team did their due diligence when scouting the best overall draft picks in the 2025 class.       In basically every win but Atlanta he's had 2-3 plays that were a big deal but he also was part of why we needed those 2-3 plays instead of just cruising.
