We have our coaches. What schemes will we run?

Come on, Mr. Scot. Assume we hire the OC that's speculated and then we have everyone but special teams, right? What are we missing? lol

We did hire the OC.

We're still missing WR, TE and Strength and Conditioning coaches, plus any additional staff they might add.

So yeah, not quite full...but close.

The major spots are filled, at least.

well then, wtf are we talking about here, Mike? Do wr coaches really change the scheme much?
I'm being hard on you because I know you, of all posters, would have a good ability to extrapolate out on this topic.

I get it 😄

All indications are we're gonna be running a 4-3 defense, but as was noted elsewhere there's a mix of styles on the offensive side.

(I'll see if I can find the tweet)

Pretty sure they're smart enough to play to their strengths. Running game with Duce should be solid. Reich will adapt the passing game to whatever QB we get, he adjusted from Luck to Brissett to Rivers to Wentz, all slightly different styles. Wentz folded under pressure eventually, and at the end Matt Ryan is probably just cooked

Asking the wrong person im not a football nerd I don't study coaches and their schemes.

Just give me Stroud or Young. Fallback is Levis/AR. I don't care just no more bridge QB's please!

This star studded staff wont be in place long enough...need a bridge ,as you call it, if we want to win now with this staff

Thank you for using your imagination today.
Who do you want in the draft? Who do you think would best suit Frank's past team schemes with the O-line and players we have? What about defense? We pretty much have all of the D coordinators.

If the Bears really are crazy and want to trade Fields then let’s get him. If not, move to 1 or 3 and get Stroud or Young. If not them then sign Carr. I don’t give a poo honestly. Just get a good QB for fugs sake!

    • I know we look at a few plays here and there but this Rams unit put up more pts against Seattle's elite defense. I think getting rid of Evero will be something we regret doing...we are just devoid of talent across the defense after investing YEARS in our offense.
    • Yeah and he plays Xavier fuging Legette. Shackles on canales and reich LOL. You mean the coach who had tampa bay a bottom third offense in his season there? And the coach who brought in the most laughably bad offensive scheme and play calling this franchise has ever seen? You are absolutely delusional 😂😂
    • It’s been a thing all year. Those PFF stats having him highly ranked in zone coverage early on made no sense. It was a problem for our intermediate zone game all year because the linebackers struggled in coverage as well. A lot of what people are complaining about Evero calling “prevent” defense is guys getting straight beat at that intermediate level which by design happens to line up with the sticks.  But zone allows you to diffuse responsibility by allocating across areas rather than personnel and therefore limiting the damage from a mistake. We don’t have personnel to run bump n run man coverage. Getting beat doing that means watching our guy chase their guy on long routes down the field.   And yea I mean, a better pass rush is the “rising tide that raises all ships”. Definitely have some pieces but player development and a key free agent could go a long way.
