Top 5 pick Will Anderson says the best QB he played against at Alabama was Matt Corral

It would be great if Corral worked out. However the knock on him has been fragility and he couldn't even get through a few series in the preseason before a major, year long injury. Can't count on someone like that.

He was durable before that particular injury so we'll see going forward. He was a steal because of that and "other" things that aren't football things. He's a good/great football player.

Will Anderson Jr. approves of this message.

He was my #1 rated QB last year, but you can't count on a 3rd round pick that got injured for the entire year in his first preseason. He really needed that first year to build out his body. Do we even know what shape he's in?

Injured his ankle his junior year, injured it again in that final bowl game his senior year. The Lisfranc was the same right foot/ankle.

He got hurt to finish college, then he got hurt to start the pros. He’s been soft. And I think he’s had to come out of a couple games the year before due to being banged up at Ol Miss.

The CURRENT owner and GM who are usually instrumental in picking ANY QB and especially one they fly in BEFORE the draft and sign off on moving up in the draft for are STILL in charge. THEY were Corral fans before the draft. He was in the building meeting everyone before that draft clock started.

Us Corral hopeful aren't the delusional ones here.

Neither Tepper nor Fitt are going to be pounding on the table for Reich to give an injured 3rd round QB a chance. They know that NFL rosters have tons of turnover all the time.

It  shouldn't matter if Corral really develops. Would just allow us to do what the Pats did with Jimmy G if we wanted to.
