I hope he sprays it around like crazy because right now it looks like we might have to go all the way to #1 to get him at this point.

I am changing my stance that there will not be 4 guys in the top 10 but damn it’s looking like it now.   What ar as done today is pretty nuts.

I worry that Levis is coming off like a jerk--can he be a good teammate?  Does not seem humble or ready to learn--but this is a meat market.

I wasn't gonna say anything about that because I'm sure I already come off to many as a Levis hater, but yeah I got that vibe from him too

CJ, Levis, and now AR have all said some extremely cocky poo over the last 24 hours... its either the mentality agents are telling these kids to have... or they indeed have ego issues.

At the time end of the day to be a great QB in the NFL you gotta walk that tight rope between confident and cocky. I haven't seen any of these guys come across as bad as Josh Rosen or Brock Osweiler. Those are the only two guys I've ever written off as surefire busts simply based on how off the charts cocky they came across in the pre-draft process.

They MUST be highly confident and self assured, that scares less confident folk and can come off as ego or arrogance.

    • I said that way back because it is true. Teams aren’t trading what appears to be a can’t miss prospect.    In an extremely rare scenario like they have an established QB and maybe got the pick in a trade. Sort of like the Bears but with a better incumbent. If they’s have had someone significantly better than Fields they might have cashed in.
    • So you're saying you'd still go back and take the inferior talents, just because you think they fit with Bryce better, a player who is more likely than not, to no longer be a Panther next year? That's just crazy to say, wanting to have a worse player because you think they fit better with your awful QB is just dumb.  You take the best players, if your existing players then aren't good enough, you replace them later. It's crazy that there are still people with this take after they've seen what T-Mac can do for us in just 5 games so far.
    • I have seen Bryce make some outstanding throws but what he is up against is even when the WRs get a little separation, that tightens up while the ball is in the air. By degrees depending on the distance. Not as critical on the short stuff.
