Just a pet peeve of mine when people come into clearly titled threads and complain or mock people for discussing exactly what the thread title would lead you to believe is being discussed. Just seems like people wouldn't click on topics that aren't of interest to them but maybe I'm weird that I don't.

I suppose uniformity is not one of my strong suits. Sorry not sorry if feelings we hurt.

Is going 1 now.   Damn that’s insane.

I mean if that happens I'm happy throwing #9 at Young and shooting my shot again next year if he's crap.

Just don't put multiple firsts on the line - that's my breaking point.

Him and SS sr were in love with Downs during his drills on NFL+

The dude can flat out play. As a huge UNC fan, my concerns about Downs in the NFL are:

1. Size. He's gonna be a shoehorned as a slot only guy and he faced virtually no press coverage at UNC because defenses were terrified of getting beat deep in large part because we had great deep ball throwers in Howell and Maye.

2. Durability. He didn't miss many games at UNC but he was routinely hampered by nagging injuries.

3. Giving up yards to try to gain yards. He's fully willing to give up yards to get space to try to make a move. It worked out more often than not in college but it may be a habit he'll need to break in the NFL.

At the end of the day though, I expect him to be a very good NFL slot WR.

Cam 2.0 with elite world class coaching.  fug it I am down.  Give up what it takes to go to 1.

Lets pump the brakes a little bit here.... If AR comes out throwing ducks or off target... his stock wont be as high. We have a recenty bias right now... but comes end of March, after pro days, the lay of the land could be different.

His score is his score.   Along with his great interviews it’s not going to matter how he throws

    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
