literally any other throwing session for others. You called it egregious. Off the top of your head can you name a few combine throwing sessions that were clearly superior to what Stroud has done today?

Are you pursuiing this bc it's Stroud? This feels like a weird reason to pursue my reply to calling someone's tweet a hype piece bc they claimed that CJ Stroud had the greatest throwing session at the NFL combine they have ever seen... Considering Stroud missed 5 throws... and 2 throws that were less than ideal.

Yeah, but honestly, it looked like all of the top guys are using the drill to air it out instead.  And even if they were supposed to be back shoulder throws, both Stroud's first and AR's last throw made the receiver wait on it and took them out of stride.  The placement just wasn't great on either.

Yeah, exactly. All of the QBs struggled on that drill. DTR actually did nail one of his back shoulder throws. However, that was it.

I’m asking because you said it was egregious… so it should hav been easy to point out a few performances that were so much better nobody could really debate it.

My 4 are:

1) AR

2) Stroud

3) Nobody

4) Nobody

I dont want Young.  I just don't feel his frame or style of play will lead to consistent success in the NFL.  He may get off to a quicker start than some other guys, but I don't expect it to last.

And idk what it is, but it's several things...  I just don't like Levis.  Reminds me a lot of Blaine Gabbert coming out.  Over hyped and under delivers.

Edit:  This is my personal top 4, not what I think the NFL decision-makers project.  I honestly don't know how they would have it after this...  DJ said earlier that some of them already had AR as their #2 guy on their QB big boards, so I imagine he may be 1 now on some of them.  And yet, he's prolly 4 out of the big 4 on others.  So who knows what they think...  I just know his potential is just too big to ignore.

    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
