it just seems that the only reason to go to 1 is for stroud. Levi’s will be there at 3. If they think Stroud is dat dude, then gitter dunn and lets fuggin go.

if they take Levi’s at 1, then i expect it’s because the trade packages for 1 and 3 were similar, or even that Chicago wanted less.

moving back to 2 and taking Levi’s there, while picking back up next years 1 would be a 4D chess move.

Trading up for Tim Couch/Ryan Leaf is never a 4D chess move. Levis was a reach at 9. At top-3, it's downright velcro shoes.

See that’s the thing. Young is a complete QB prospect with one glaring flaw….size.

Should we pass up the best QB because he “might get hurt”? He also might not ever miss serious time.

I guess my point is, the only consistent issue with him is size. He’s the best QB if he was bigger.

It’s a pickle.

At 9, sure roll the dice, if he dies you go again next year.

At #1 after giving up so much - oh lord.

No, the Panthers did this deal early because the Bears dictated terms to us.

They wanted to make the trade prior to FA so they knew where they stood - they now don't have to go hard after a FA WR.

You act like an early move can’t be mutually advantageous.

Us doing this before FA was really important for both of us. A lot easier to stomach losing DJ when you still have time to add weapons. Also not having to pay up for a Starting QB this year helps open up the books for us to improve other places.

Maybe it's Richardson.  He's probably the only one fast enough to catch his own passes.

This must have you in a tough spot. Tepper signed off on shipping off Moore but you wouldn't want to be seen being critical of your favorite billionaire owner. What to do what to do.

It's going to be a long rest of the decade if we draft a 5'11" QB to play in today's NFL

Today's NFL is the most QB friendly it’s ever been. A normal hit on the QB is roughing the passer and the league has no intentions of changing that.
