That is one thing that let me know Brady was going to be a different sort of player at QB. Some guys are just *comfortable* standing there in the chaos and diagnosing things. If we draft CJ, I hope he is able to show similar promise early on.

I don't think there is a QB coming out that is calmer than Bryce in the pocket. That is literally one of the thing EVERYBODY agrees on that he is uncannily calm under major pressure.

Not saying that you are saying otherwise, but wanted to point that out.

He is very good under pressure.  He checks all boxes outside of his overall size.

There is a breakdown of Bryce on YouTube where they show wide open receivers in the middle of the field that Bryce clearly can’t see because of his height.

This happened over and over again.

Its going to be an issue.

Broke the passing yards record and passing touchdowns record at a storied Bama franchise can’t say the same for stroud I don’t think passing is his issue .

Broke the passing yards and touchdowns record at Bama first qb to win the heisman at Bama had more yards and touchdowns than Caleb Williams when he won the heisman had very few batted passes this is a non issue get him a good tight end a good center he’ll be fine

The truth of the matter might be that both Young and Stroud are quality NFL quarterbacks.

This is my opinion. I actually really like them both the more I watch them. I think they both have profiles that can excel in the NFL. Find it funny how divided this board can be on them at times.

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
