Very serviceable player for good value. Here’s my rundown.

Williams: 4.5 sacks, 8 QB hits, 4 TFL, 37 total tackles, 15 games started

Derrick Brown: 1 sack, 12 QB hits, 5 TFL, 67 total tackles.

Brown was a stud last year and honestly Williams could easily take the next step in his career. Great value signing that will be a contributor at the minimum next year.

Are you THE Steven smith?

To be fair, I don’t think any WR he signs from FA will be an upgrade over DJ Moore. A bit nit picky I know, but I’d say 7/22 is more accurate.

The best you can hope for is to find two guys on cheaper contracts that could give you an equal amount of yards that DJ produced. You could possibly increase your TD production as well.

It’s been stated over and over that Tuttle was signed as a NT.  Team sources confirmed it.  He played a ton of snaps at NT for the Saints last year.

Yeah I saw David Newton mention it. He really isn’t a good source. Can you confirm someone else acknowledging it ? Typically nose tackles are about 330 pounds to hold the point of attack and eat up space. I don’t see Shy holding up at Nose. Seems more like a rotational piece for defensive end.

If this guy and Tuttle are our starting DEs, Bell is our staring S

On offense, Miles Sanders starts at RB, Bozeman starts at C, and Hurst starts at TE.

We have not added a WR or two, and Fitterer has already upgraded 6/22 positions.  Once he signs a WR and we draft a QB, in one year we will have upgraded 8/22 starting positions.   That is over 36% of the starters.  In addition, you put Burns and Chinn in position to be more effective.

Tuttle is the nose tackle

Brown will be playing one of the DE spots.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
