Not mad at this move at all. But I do see what you see, we need someone to stretch the field. Hope that comes too.

He is a nice little chess piece to move around the board and keep the chains moving here and there, but we are facing monstrously athletic WRs and we don't have a counter punch for that yet. Fitt get moving.

Is anyone else scared Fitt gave him way too much?

Someone based poster did the 2024 mathz and before this signing it took 37 miilion out of the 110-ish in space. My guess is this takes another 10+ million away, so about halved the cap space.

Fitt has been incredible so far this offseason. He’s embarrassing all the clowns saying he was trash and needed to get sent packing with Rhule. I trust him. He’s killing it right now. We look like we can take the division immediately at this point.

Cam is probably the best Panther of all time. He’s easily in the top 3. But it’s time to let it go. We are drafting our new “Cam” this year. Can we just retire the “resign Cam” posts and comments now?

Just ten more years of "RESIGN CAM", can you make it?!?!

With the players we have now?

    • Funny enough, those good games Rico had were when Canales finally put BC at RG. Once BC got hurt, our run game turned to crap again (outside of the GB outlier game)
    • When I say elite, I am talking Bowers and Tony Gonzalez type can't miss prospects. The ones that are the complete package (good athleticism, good blocking, knows how to position body for contested catches, able to run a complete route tree). I also wasn't big on Warren last year (although he at least had the college production) and wasn't sure on Loveland (didn't do enough research on him but was impressed with his route running). I just think TE is a luxury pick for us with how many positions we have that are void of talent. Now, if Sadiq is the best player (by a good margin) our front office thinks is available at 19, then I understand taking him. My worries with Sadiq is if he has to be used like a Pitts, Engram, etc. type TE where they get lined up in the slot because they can't block LBs or Dlinemen. And if that is what happens, it's pretty much like drafting an athletic tall receiver that isn't capable of running a complete route tree. And for how many freaks do we have... you do realize we drafted bum ass XL because we thought he was an athletic freak. Turns out that athleticism doesn't mean crap when you are dumb as rocks, can't run routes, and can't catch the ball...  I feel like we have been drafting guys that are displaying elite athleticism at the combine over college production (and I think that has shown why a lot of our drafts prior to last year have sucked)
    • He'll be out for 6-9 months at a minimum, possibly even 12 months and he'll never recover the explosion he once had - if he even comes back (I think it ends the career of like 20% of players that suffer it). If the research I did on the injury is correct (it was a while ago).
