For the ones taking these pro days so seriously. Do you realize there’s no pass rush coming at them during pro days. No reading coverages?  Hell, Johnny Manziel and Zach Wilson lit up their pro days. Any average college QB with a good arm can look good at a pro day. Who cares. It doesn’t matter.

Mahomes' playstyle  is not what you want your rookie QB doing.  Cross body, cross field throws while backpedaling is normally bad news.  He just has a crazy strong arm and can make it work where others have failed.  I don't think Young does as much of that stuff though, it's more evading pressure and extending plays to make the read.

They are just good opportunities to reflect on each player.

Btw I agree - like some of the beat reporters have noted, the personal interactions at the dinners and casual convos likely offer much more insight than the actual passing drills do
