This sounds like a true story. If it is not going to be Stroud it has to be AR.

You dont draft 5"10 185 pounds at #1. Especially when he has a average arm and is not exceptionally fast.

I have said this from the beginning and im sticking too it.

as a guy who believes you always go with upside. I lovd AR15. is hethe most pro ready no.   but if we are beting on traits and upside he hasthe most and instantly day 1 is top 5 in the league at something. the floor is high in thar aspect. coach the rest...

If we trying to make one of these guys have the skills to go head to head with mahomes and burrows of the world.. I think its him.

We've heard every combination of what each person wants. It's all BS. Just as likely promoted by the league and corporate aspects of the media to drum up suspense.

Gotta say the rest of the top 10 is not that exciting to talk about. This is the kinda draft that's almost equal talent from pick 5-50 depending on what happens with the QB's and top D-line guys. There's barely a non QB player that you could claim as the clear best player in this draft.

To be fair most of the all time great QB's weren't top 5 picks.

What??
Can we put more context to this statement..

Of course more QB’s were drafted after the top 5 picks.. You’re comparing sample sizes..

More ppl die driving then they do flying because there’s more ppl driving…

NFL.com has Young and Stroud as their 4th and 7th rated prospects

AR might be the next Josh Allen for all we know.

Just because you aren't great in college doesn't mean you can't be great at the NFL level.

The Goat Tom Brady was a 6th round draft pick. Apparently a lot of people missed out on his NFL potential right?

Film doesn't always tell the story.

It does more times then workout in underware.. And let’s do a reality check on the what exactly has Allen won???

And if we go by your simplistic examples then we should just draft a QB in the 6th round and watch him turn to into Brady.. Right???

Plain and simple why take a big swing when you have 2 better prospects in our hands?? Proven on tape, in production, in experience, in achievements at every level and don’t forget they both look good in underware throwing against air as well.. LOL

Don’t worry I’m done debating this.. You can drool over exercises and act like that’s a replacement over actual productive playing at the highest level week after week after week for 2 years no matter what…

My man simmer down. Nobody is crowning AR. Im just simply saying he has potential if he gets coached up maybe he can develop into something like Cam.

Chill out my man nobody is trying to debate you. I think Stroud or Young are the likely pick anyway.

Yeah 👌..

    • No, the casual fan gets sucked into THIS^^^ kind of thinking, and it's so woefully incorrect that it's almost sad. The first is what I've said numerous times, NOTHING about non guaranteed contracts save the billionaire owners a single penny, because they still have to spend their cap floor, and the only reason teams ever don't spend the full limit, is to then roll it over into the next season to be able to spend more that year. But in the end, owners pay the same amount of money no matter what. The reverse is also the same, that the players in totality make the same amount of money as well, because in your example of Clowney not getting that money this year, it will go to another player, as the cap needs to be spent. And you say how we just cut Clowney after we gave him the 2 year contract, but everyone including Clowney's agent and himself, knew when it was signed, that it was more likely to be a 1 year contract than a 2 with how it was structured.  The 2nd year was just to be able to spread out the cap hit and he was always most likely going to end up getting traded or cut. It's why agents and players don't care about the total money in a contract, it's always and only been about the guaranteed money, as the years and overall value are meaningless, always have been, always will be.
    • Agents will have their 1st round picks hold out until the pay structure of their contract is to their liking, not how much money they'll get or even how much is guaranteed, just the when/how they will get the money over the course of the contract. If they're willing to recommend those players hold our, do you really think they won't do it for 2nd rounders to guarantee them an extra 10% of their entire rookie contract?
