I'm in agreement with this, except my preference is Stroud over Young.

The problem is that I read both Stroud and Young will be gone by the time we select at #1.

It would not be the dumbest thing posted here in recent memory, sadly.

I literally cannot wrap my head around how polarized this place is over what is genuinely two pretty damn good choices, IMO.

The poo that you see these buffoons saying is insane.

Polarization right now won’t come close to the level it will be at if the one we take turns out to be just OK and the other leads the Texans to a SB win. Might as well lock this place up and throw away the key. There is of course the chance we make the right pick and it works out perfectly, but that type of hope is not available yet.

I voted Stroud in the original poll and Young in this one. my personal preference (as someone who doesn't watch college FB) have kind of mirrored that change, as well. I'm good with either but I think it's harder to find the things that make Young who he is than the things that make Stroud who he is.

I have wanted CJ Stroud since the Georgia game and I will stick by that pick!! I agree Young is good too I just dont feel him if u know what I mean ?? Not my fav..maybe it’s cuz his size reminds me of Kyler Murray and I don’t like his style of play and he’s a whiny bitch!!! But I think Young definitely his much better player and has higher character than Murray! So that’s tainted me on Young. I prefer Stroud !!  So we are at debating til draft night!! Lol

Moved to 100% team Young over the last two weeks, the more I watch the more clear to me he is special and heads and shoulders above the other guys. Signs are pointing more and more to us not being Size Cowards so I feel pretty confident we take him.

He's not head and shoulders above anyone - he's going to be the smallest guy on your roster.

My preference is Bryce then CJ second.

What ultimately separates the two for me is their on-field intangibles and instincts.

If the NFL game was just pure 7on7 football - CJ throws the cleanest passes - on time, with touch and good velocity at all three levels of the field.

The issues for me come with his counterpunch - when the pocket isn't clean; when talent on the opposing side is equal or superior; when a designed play doesn't go as planned.

What do we consider his signature win? Rosebowl vs Utah or @ Penn State

If the NFL was pure 7-on-7 I'd take Young as he's unlikely to get crushed by a 300lb man. Unfortunately it's not.

With the first pick of the draft the Carolina Panthers select *glances at card* wait, it says CJ Stroud AND Bryce Young! That’s not legal is it? Just a moment, I’m being told there isn’t an actual rule against that. Oh well I guess they can do that.

The new coach in houston and their upcoming draft class could turn it around but I wouldn't worry their FO will end up firing Demarco too early and crap the bed.

The Texans Panthers game will be fun this year as well.

Hell of a rollercoaster ride. At 9 I had resigned myself to not getting a qb.  Maybe Hooker at 39 or that 60 something pick we had.  The we went big and moved up. At that point I was all about Young. Just seasoned and NFL ready I thought. But the combine happened and Stround and AR looked so good in different ways and have leaned into Stround since then. Levis was never on my radar except if we had stayed at 9 and he slipped or if we had just traded up with Arizona.  I'm now firmly on the Stround bandwagon.  He seems like a Reich guy. AR is still a wildcard but I really think he should have stayed in school one more year and built on his resume a bit. He did that through the combine obviously but I would like more tape and some bigger wins.
