What's the point..do tell

If you are unable to figure out on your own then I’m afraid S2 competence is the least of your worries. And you seem to just be getting cute to avoid the very obvious point that goes against your narrative.

Either the leaked scores are full of poo or they aren’t. Based on the evidence provided, which do you feel is more likely. Is this veteran journalist putting his reputation on the line over numbers he fabricated or did he get those numbers from league insiders? And if he got them from various insiders, are they are collaborating to tank Strouds stock in a league wide conspiracy or are they giving accurate information they are all privy to?

This kind of simple logic seems to evade you. And there’s every chance the leak is complete BS. But he makes a valid point. Is he risking his reputation on lies he made up, is the league lying to him in a league wide conspiracy, or is there some truth to these numbers? Which is most likely? That’s a pretty simple and fair question.

If the score was 18 and the story Brady Quinn told about CJ ghosting Manning Camp was true.... I don't  know what to think.

Lots of QBs pass the eye test in college  and have a good bit of success but then they get to the pro level and just can't get things to click for whatever reason.  Could it be that the S2 could be an indicator  of not just success  but, more importantly, of a lack of success?

I guess we'll  find out.... if this stuff is true, that is.

I do know that as the days go by I'd be less and less upset if he's not the pick.

I'd still be happy if we get him, but I think I'd also be more nervous with that pick than Young.

The problem with the 18 score is there is no single score to get... Was he 18th percentile?  Did he get an 18 on one part of the test?  Etc...

The test maker said that there isn't one score and you can't trust sources giving one score to a player.

That said, clearly Stroud did not do well on the S2 at least relative to the others.

Nothing about that article or these "reports" jive with Stroud's performances on the field. The dude loves Jesus and football. He'll be just fine.

Because that's all you really need. Just look at The Golden Calf of Bristol!

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
