Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Mazi Smith? I didn't expect that!

JAX has to go Dawand Jones. It makes too much sense.  But do they? ...And they don't but they DO go RT!! Anton Harrison out of Okla is a BIG dude

Murphy to CIN makes sense with some of their other possible targets off the board.

I think that it was fairly understood that the Saints were going DT and Bresee being there has to make them more than happy. NFC South got better tonight (as did other divisions!)

jfc PHI got Jalen Carter AND Nolan Smith? Would be crazy if they played HOU this season!! 👀👀👀

Time to see who the last pick of the first round is... does KC take their pick or trade down??

If you don't feel bad for Levis well then you are just mean.

I'm mean. It's gold. Pure 28 carrot gold. Lol.  Dude looks like a 80's bully in a movie. Like a Cobra Kai,  skiing sweater on his shoulders,  WASP whose daddy owns the ski mountain or country club.  I'm not mean I'm pulling for the underdog. Hooker needs to be taken before Levis.  Gboro kid likely never been on skis but he glides on the football field. Levis is mechanical.

Oh, they're picking. Damn! I was hoping the Panthers would be able to trade back up to take a pass rusher, but I wonder if they like the currently available prospects to make it to them.

They might even think think the current crop allows them to potentially trade back?

KC gets their defense a pass rusher with Felix Anudike-Uzomah out of nearby Kansas State! Chiefs fans are going nuts and it is awesome

What a fun 1st round. That top 10 was one of the most interesting and wild that I've seen in awhile. There are a lot of good players available!!

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
