Panthers pick 8th tomorrow, who's your top 8?  

For me I like Mayer, Porter, Mingo, LaPorta, Washington, Ojulari, Hyatt, and Ringo

Imo Panthers will want:

BJ Ojulari

If he is gone, then a trade down.

Jaylin Hyatt

A lot of these other players are not good value. No wonder Fitt was talking about a trade down.

Don't sleep on a guard, I think the Panthers need more interior help with Corbett's injury and there are some nice options available, particularly Torrence

If B.J is there then he is the pick imo. If he is gone then I really see a trade down with the TEs as bait. A team moves up to take a TE, and we move down to look at:

Joey Porter

Jonathan Mingo

Jaylin Hyatt

I don't think the Panthers are taking a TE at 39. Basically Fitt is planning to move up for BJ, or down if he goes too quickly off the board. We really need to land BJ.

Yes indeed, I would say always be on the lookout for good line on both sides. That said, usually there are good prospects to be had in later rounds for guards.

Those 4 or bust for me. I will be dissapointed if neither of them are the pick.

 

Porter is definitely the best prospect on the board though. I will be shocked if he isn't the first pick tomorrow especially from the Steelers for who his dad played for.

Yea, CB is a position of need for the Steelers, he's the best non QB or TE on the board right now and they don't need either of those.  

Porter makes sense to them before you even factor in his dad into the equation.  Just knowing how that organization operates, there is no way they're passing up on drafting Porter Jr, it's the most Steelers type of pick ever.

Yeah BC is already practicing and Cade Mays should be solid while Corbett is rehabbing. We're bringing in 20 UDFA's and I bet 5 of those will be O-line and 1 or 2 will look ok
