Hoping one of Rush, Tice or Kuntz is there at 145.

Pumped about the Zavala selection.

I'd like a pass catching TE, but would be happy with a tackle, center, or even another guard. Anything else wouldn't be as good to me. That said, Fitt probably tries to trade back and get another pick or two.

I would be happy with Terrell Smith CB Minnesota as well.

I think the last pick will be CB--unless we trade back for more picks

Can't wait to see if our draft is over or if Fitterer has another trade left in him. I'm leaning towards the former. This class has felt incredibly deblierate: franchise QB, WR to grow with him that knocked out the team visit, edge rusher that our new DC said "go get," and a guard to play next to Icky so that Christensen can take his time coming back from injury. Brady could end up being the swing guy until it's time to take over at RT for Moton (unless the team looks for higher upside there, of course).

Either way... this draft looks like it was meant to provide stability for Bryce Young. He's going to have Ekwonu, Zavala, and Bozeman blocking for him for the next 3 seasons. He's going to have Mingo. They're going to go find him a TE next season if Hayden Hurst or Tommy Tremble don't breakout this season. Thomas Brown might get the Bienemy treatment for a season or two, so he'll be around for a minute until teams figure out how brilliant he is.

I'm already accepting that Brown and Evero are going to be head coaches in the next 2 - 4 seasons if this team ends up being successful quickly.

CB seems to be the biggest need, but a TE could be a need next year so take one to develop why not.

Wouldn't mind Kenny McIntosh, RB from Georgia. Good blocker and can catch the ball. But don't know if a RB really is a need... maybe if Sanders aren't a good blocker (I have no idea about his blocking ability).

Edit: safety as last pick. I'm happy with that.

    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
