Tom Brady cussed out his teammates and refs his entire career.

Nobody called him a diva.

So you basically think most of the players in the NFL are divas because those actions happen every day. It's football bro did you not play in high school?

we dont have to see eye to eye here.... and MANY people called Brady a diva..

Relax.

Im relaxed bro.lol

I was just giving you an example that all players are not held to the same standard. Football is an emotional game players have outburst all the time. I don't view them as divas unless they show a consistent behavior of those actions over the years.

Somebody said Bryce was the #1 QB in college. I pointed out Williams was better. So it was relevant to the conversation.

Bryce was the #1 QB prospect heading into both seasons the last two years. What @CamWhoaaCam said was accurate.

Caleb was just seen as a Oklahoma transfer who was inconsistent when it came to his throw vs run decision making. He wasn't on anyone's radar until this last season.

Caleb Williams is the number 1 QB prospect for next year.

It’s not about the beginning of the year. Caleb Williams finished college football this year as the best QB in college football. And that’s why he was awarded the awards. Bryce was terrific. Caleb was just better. And he’s a better pro prospect due to his size, arm strength and speed compared to Bryce.

That’s why there’s many articles like this: https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2023-all-eligible-nfl-mock-draft

Bears, and I agree, would not have traded out of first overall if Caleb was on the board. And they’d take him with Fields on the roster.

Here’s another about how Caleb would have been the first pick in this class and even last years class: https://247sports.com/Article/Caleb-Williams-would-be-first-QB-selected-in-2023-or-last-years-NFL-Draft-if-eligible-analyst-says-200236324/

Here is an article on the athletic where they interviewed coaches: https://theathletic.com/4453949/2023/04/26/nfl-draft-quarterback-class-analysis/

Some preferred Stroud, some Young but even at the bottom there’s a quote where the person said Williams is significantly better than these prospects. By the time the season was over it was clear Williams was the best QB on any college field this year, Young included.

You have to let the Caleb Williams dream go my man.

Young is our QB now. Williams is a better prospect yes, but he's no longer an option for us. No need to keep bringing him up.

I dont disagree with any of this. Its an empty argument. I was stating at the begining of this year.... Caleb Williams was not on anyone's radar for a top QB prospect and stating IF he was in this draft is not an actuality.

Hence my reference.... "now do Peyton Manning and Patrick Mahomes"

Also, your comment about many articles like the one you linked above.... there is literally just one. haha. The article is about what the draft would look like is there were no eligiblity limitations.

I’m only bringing him up, still, because Casillas keeps replying. For the record, I never pitched us drafting him or thought we were in the running for him. We should be picking too far back to be in range of him. Young is our QB and I support him. That doesn’t mean I have to put blinders on and pretend he’s not without flaw or that there aren’t better PROSPECTS out there than him.

I linked multiple articles saying he’d go first overall above. Not just one. Including one from NFL scouts and coaches on The Athletic.

Chris Simms opinion is not shared by a lot of NFL Scouts and other top QB evaluators.

I am not real  interested in peoples present opinion of Panthers QB Bryce Young but the opinions given at the end of the season are the ones that will get my attention.

Between the Zack Wilson, Corral, and Mitch comments he is just saying things to go against the grain and make some headlines.

Palmer was decent but Leinart, Sanchez and Darnold have been terrible and were all drafted higher. Jury is still out on Fields, so he and Palmer potentially cancel each other out.

I mean, Mark Sanchez won 4 playoff games and had pretty the same TOTAL yards/TDs as Fields. I’d say they actually cancel each other out and then Ohio State doesn’t have a Carson Palmer.

No need to debate this though as both schools haven’t produced anyone worth talking about. It’s like why debate on who’s the least awful? Lol
