What is the obsession of loud music in your car?

This is insane. Nuno gets into it hard, and Brad Paisley needs to switch music styles.

Yeah Brad is a genuinely talented guitarist who just enjoys country. I think he could write riffs in just about any genre though for at least one full album and it be good as hell. Honestly a fair number of country artists, or at least guys who play behind country artists are usually metal or punk guys at heart who take work where they can get it lol

I firmly believe it is some form of perceived display of dominance.

Rolling coal, thunderously loud motorcycles, huge pick-up trucks that serve no practical purpose in your life, passive aggressive political stickers, truck nuts, unignorable loud music.

All tiny penis moves

Bro, it's not the thump in the trunk but the vibration of the station.

9 months later on a rainy day he's still blasting his music in his car.

I'm seriously debating going to his house and offering him a job. This is just a sad way to live life. Day/Night/Morning it doesn't matter the time he will blast his music.

Just found out the lady who owned the house actually passed away and left it with her son. I guess her troubled son decided to move in with his girlfriend and kids after her passing. My guess is he is probably on drugs and doesn't care to work for his family.

A lot of assumptions here

If playing music in your vehicle at 80db is loud enough to overcome engine and traffic noise then what value (besides being a dick) is there in running it up to 130db?

I used to drive through church parking lots during services and set off all the car alarms.

I went through a phase in my teens and early 20s. First vehicle was a 1988 single cab Toyota 4x4 pickup. Slammed two 12" MA Audios with aluminum cones in that bitch. Had to have the seat slid all the way up. Get high as hell bumpin' Outkast. Felt like getting a massage. Cracked the sliding back glass with Late Night Tip. lol

Moved that same setup to my '97 Jeep TJ. Soft top Jeeps just don't hit the same same.

Bought an '01 Tahoe when I graduated college. First setup was two 12" Kicker Solobarics on 1000wrms apiece in a big ass ported box I designed and belt myself. That poo was just PAINFUL. Sofa king loud. Got rid of that pretty quick. It was honestly just TOO loud and I had no cargo space. Ditched it for a 15" Stereo Integrity Mag D2 in a sealed box on that same 2000wrms amp. That was my favorite setup ever. Could get plenty loud and was just so tight. Unfortunately it got stolen. Replaced it with a 12" of the same on 1000wrms. Was still a really good setup but the 15" was just *chef's kiss*. I still have that 12"er and the amp down in the basement. It'll end up going in my '95 Land Cruiser once we buy the wife something else so she's not driving it everyday.

That really sucks

I am an older adult and still love playing good responsibly loud heavy music as I commute back and forth to work and also enjoy listening while I am grilling but I am always very responsible about keeping it to myself and not imposing my music on others.

I sympathize as I have ad others around me blaring their music and not considering the possibility I may not be interested in hearing their music
