Now that Bridges has turned himself in, the warrant for his arrest is public. On Jan. 2, the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office took out an arrest warrant for the violation of a protective order. He’s accused of continually contacting the victim on social media.

Then a week ago, on Oct. 6, Bridges is accused of violating a protective order during a custody exchange that day, according to a criminal summons. It alleges he threw pool balls at his ex-girlfriend’s car, damaging her windshield. During the exchange, he threatened to withhold child support and “take everything from her,” according to the summons.

Bridges is also facing a child abuse charge because there were children in the car when the window broke from the pool balls, according to the criminal summons.

yeah I watch hockey. How is that term relevant to Miles? Hmmm

Well a Goon in hockey means a guy is a dirty player/enforcer or a relative douchebag in general, I think that it applies to Miles in that regard.

Considering that Hockey is played primarily by Europeans, I fail to see any correlations when it comes to race.

Tom Wilson gets called a Goon, and Miles Bridges has been called a goon.

So what's the point here?

He is racebaiting. Trying to start stuff in the nba forum now that the mods reprimanded him in the college FB thread. He admitted he is a troll. Just put him on ignore like the rest of us.

But that’s their role on a hockey team. They were a celebrated commodity for many years and an integral piece of a championship team. They set the tone, pestered opposing players, and most importantly protected your star player(s). A goon on a hockey team does not equal a pos in real life. Comparing Bridges to a goon on a hockey team is a weird comparison. That’s the point.

The mugshot smirk is making my skin crawl. Not watching until they drop this dummy.

I agree but why haven't they? I'm beginning to think they are trying at all costs to appease LaMelo so he won't leave because he and Miles are close friends. But where do you say enough is enough? Throwing billiard balls at a car your kids are inside of? After a felony DV charge? Bad look for everyone involved. Idk if any of them are worth watching or giving money to at this point.

    • to clarify I am not referring to Will Levis.  Not knowingly.   I just made that up and tried to use a reasonable guesstimate of what else was done.  That sounded in the ballpark.  At one time I did look it all up and there were several teams that had much more successful days downfield.   If that happened to be Levis' actual numbers than it's more of a lucky coincidence.  If memory serves, it wasn't just Will Levis that brought the claim into question, it was SEVERAL teams had better days.  and you are missing my entire point of the subjective nature of it all.  If PFF employee Doug watched Bryce's film and then used his same unique subjective vantage point to grade all 31 other starting QBs.  Then dumped into into a spread sheet, it would a subjective Doug take but at least it would be a level uniform subjectivity.   The grades are done by various people.  All watching and applying their own subjective view to a play.  Everyone isn't going to grade incompletions out the same.  Or completions.   So when you dump it all into a spread sheet and hit sort.....it's not actually a statement of fact as portrayed.  Which is why you sometimes get some head scratching stuff.  I'm not reframing anything.   I don't think.  I just wasn't going to look it all back up so I was talking vaguely off the general issue I have with PFF and treating any random claim they make as the truth.
    • Jones got projected as the next Eli because they share a similar goofball, on the spectrum energy.  That's my theory.
    • I didn't think underrated was the wildest statement. The passing and offensive command he showed in week 18 against Atlanta was as good as any QB that has ever played for this franchise.  I mean THAT part is wild.  Which plays into the overrated part.  End of regulation I don't think he even hit 200 yards passing.  I mean he had a very efficient day vs a weak defense.   As good as we have ever seen in Carolina?
