Probably better to just check out a 6 minute clip each week to get up to speed on Young than wasting a couple hours on Sunday at this stage

lolz and people still think he has a nfl arm

Absolutely will not throw outside the hashes down field.  I'm not rewatching it again, but I counted one from the pocket and it was more/less a throw away.  So basically opposing defenses have to cover the middle of the field and the flats.

Is he calling the plays? I thought that was Frank's job.

The options are there, he's just not taking them.  Just because of what Young is taking, doesn't mean the play calling doesn't offer other options.

In the same offense, Dalton threw 13 passes beyond 10 yards outside of the hashes.

Frank conceded he has to put new plays in for Dalton downfield per the vets request.  Which certainly implied Frank intentionally kept it short weeks 1-2 at least vs Seattle

The play calling is utter garbage. I think we all know that. Running up the middle and bubble screens do not make an effective offense. Particularly, when everyone watching knows what is going to happen ahead of time.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
