And?

our best players are not getting enough snaps,

we can't tell if we suck or our coaches are putting to much on the people they WANT TO SEE succeed.

We not playing to our strengths , because our COACHES don't know our weakest.

The fact Mingo hasn't transition so far, slows down TMJ progress from last year, and then they go get Smith-Marsette(DJ Chark lite but explosive with better route running ability)

We saw a run play design for Sanders(who runs into his own blockers) that LS actually made work for 6-7 yards, and even with the play design, I think the WR motions in for an extra block, it's so easy to see it's coming.

Crazy thing is, we run the same formation, the same play but actually think we fooling someone to thinking we ain't that dumb to run the same play over again, and if we do change it up, the ball is going to the WR on a motion.

We not putting the right guys together to win.

Chinn should be playing at least 90% of the time, TMJ should be getting more snaps than Mingo(who hasn't shown enough to earn his spot). which leads me to believe players see there's a COACH FAVORITE. It's hard to play for a Coach/Team that doesn't believe in you from the start. Hell, they can't even get enough reps to garner interest from other teams bc of lack of play.

You lost me at TMJ. He’s shown barely anything in 3 years. Mingo should be getting all his snaps to see how he develops.

TMJ started making plays last year, after RHULE GOT CANNED remember, he wasn't been used correctly.

I mean DJ MOORE wasn't even consider a legit 1WR here let that sink in

Lions OC Johnson was taking advantage of Chinn being a liability in coverage by purposefully matching him up vs Sam LaPorta

C’mon. TMJ has 1 TD in 31 games. Don’t compare him to Moore. Moore was considered a WR1, but he wasn’t considered one of the elite top 10 guys. Well, he sure seems to have taken that jump but still he was so far beyond TMJ.

First 3 years:

TMJ 61-742-1TD

DJ 208-3165-10TD

KB 184-2641-19TD

Funchess 117-1684-17TD

Funchess and KB were considered busts and they blew away TMJ. Also, Moore and KB were late 1st rounders and Funchess was a 2nd rounder like TMJ. These guys should all have similar expectations as they weren’t top picks like Chase.

And where would you like them to hide Chinn 90% of the time?

And who behind him can cover better? Especially with practically our entire starting secondary not playing yesterday.

We still don't utilize Chinn correctly. We need to have him do a variety of things so defenses won't always know that he is covering the TE/RB (versatility was our biggest argument for why we drafted him in the first place). He should either be blitzing or playing some type of zone coverage (flats or middle zone to cover slants) in obvious passing downs while helping with the run on 1st and short yardage situations.

Honestly no excuse for him only being on the field for 30% of the snaps when he was probably like our 3rd or 4th most talented player on D yesterday because of all the injuries to our D

It is amazing that no matter the coach here, this seems to happen. I don't know why. Never forget, John Fox said a punt is a good play.

    • Was at the game and NYCFC honestly outplayed CLT the whole way.  Khalina and Zaha carried the team.  Zaha's wife on IG making it sound like he's gone come July. They're going to have to pay him or find a big time replacement because the team looks like pretty lost without him.
    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
