Adams wouldn’t be okay with coming here, he wants to win

The Raiders also aren’t trading for Burns because they already have Crosby who has had some trade rumors float around with him.

The Raiders also aren’t trading their first round pick when it’s clear they need to use it for a QB

But, what about a 3 team trade?

Burns, TMJ, and Lions 2nd to the Raiders

Adams and Crosby to Lions

Jameson, Lions 1st to Panthers

We are 1-0 since the bye. We are on a winning streak! And Bryce is significantly better than Jimmy G. Come here to help us with Adams!

Sweat as a free agent edge rusher netted a 2nd round pick. You might get a little bit more for Burns based on that precedent given he's a better rusher but worse against the run. Absolutely not worth it for the Panthers.

Yeah if that’s the market then we either extend Burns or tag and trade him in the offseason.

Difference is the entire league knew Washington had zero interest in keeping him.

They already have too much money tied up on their DL, he wasn’t even a tag and trade candidate because of that, he was always going to be let go and get a compensatory puck for him.

They're getting set up to switch from Ron Rivera to Eric Bieniemy 🫥

And he is super valuable as a run stopper on the edge. Burns value is tied up 100% in rushing the passer. Sweat this season has been better at it and their run grades aren't even close. We should lock up Burns BEFORE Sweat gets his money.

    • Best birthday present ever!
    • People were discussing the new backup QB in comparison the the starter.  Neither has anything close to a cannon.  Video was posted of them throwing.  If people can’t be free to express their opinions without being put on a list of posters who have ruined this place we have a bad situation here. People trying to silence  criticism of the QB.    Maybe actually post about the other players instead of about the other posters. That is where it went off the rails.
    • That's true and we're definitely going to hear more about it as summer progresses. But at the end of the day all of the progress we've made on the roster as a whole will only matter if our passing offense can emerge from the basement of the NFL. In 2023 it was 32 out of 32 in 2024 it was 30th out of 32 and last year it was 26th out of 32. And early in the season we relied heavily on a career year from Rico Dowdle who is no longer on the roster. This is only reinforced by the fact that we (depending on how one views it) effectively took playcalling out of Dave Canales hands and brought in another offensive mind. The elephant in the room isn't going anywhere no matter how much we may not like it.
