Is Thomas Brown just calling plays from Frank Reich’s playbook?

Maybe they are just both really not good? Brown is a yet and Reich is a duh.

Some people were ready to promote him to HC without ever watching him run the offense. Now it looks like Reich was actually telling the truth and it's all a cooperative effort...

Thomas Brown didn’t come with his own playbook right? He’s just calling plays from Frank Reich’s 1983 offensive playbook?

I don’t think things can get any worse after the Panthers lose to the QB they passed on today.

Brown said before the season that Frank asked him to write the playbook. Frank gave his input after the initial draft, but it’s mostly Brown’s playbook.

You mean the playbook he and Frank made together?  I would say very likely.

“But Brown said he has free range to build the playbook – the first time he's done it in the NFL, and the second time he's done it in his career (he built the playbook at Miami while working as a college offensive coordinator under Mark Richt from 2016-18).

When the offensive staff sits at a conference table in his office, Brown presents his work for position coaches to help tailor details and solidify certain areas.

"The first thing I really appreciate about Frank is he's let me just roll so far," Brown said. "So being able to kind of put my own stamp on it and just be with the guys in this room while he handles some stuff from a head coach standpoint, it's been awesome for me.”

I thought it was Frank's playbook, play calling, player selection, penalties and injuries?  Frank wasn't solely responsible for all of this?

Been saying that.

I wasn't expecting any better play calling and that is what I saw.  The playbook looked the same.

Chubba up the gut 2x at the goaline.  WTAF.
