Given the situation of the Vikings (QB out for the year) can we and should we try and get something for the REDROCKET?

Bryce is our guy.  If we can get a 5th for Andy, I think it should be a no-brainer.  Better situation for Dalton, too.

Nah Bryce needs a vet he discuss the game  with and already has a relationship with Dalton. I don’t think we’re gonna consider moving him until the end of the year if not further .

He's already got that with Reich and McCown.

I don't understand the inclination to trade Dalton. He's a good, experienced backup that is mentoring Bryce through his first NFL season. Y'all would give that up for a 5th? And who would our backup be?

IMHO we have McCown to feel the veteran role.  We are in a good situation to recoup some much-needed draft capital with Dalton.  I think it would be foolish not to pursue.

If Bryce goes down, is it really going to matter for this season who the QB is?  I'd rather have the draft capital b/c Bryce is the long-term guy and we're not making a run this year.

I guess we're just going to have to agree to disagree. IMO, a 5th isn't commensurate with the value Dalton brings to the team, especially with this FO doing the drafting.

Said it in the other thread, Dalton is too important to Bryce's development to trade away for a mid to late round pick.

However, if we can get KJ Osborn and a 4th for Dalton and TMJ, I'm all in on that trade.

I think most likely scenario if they go the trade route would be for Jacoby.  Howell is their starter, they're not contending so don't need to keep an experienced QB around in case he gets hurt, and they're in sell mode anyways.

    • The Importance of Sleep for Weight Loss The Importance of Sleep for Weight Loss Getting enough sleep is essential for overall health and well-being, but it can also play a significant role in weight loss. Lack of sleep not only affects our energy levels and mood, but it can also impact our hormones, metabolism, and food cravings. How Lack of Sleep Affects Weight Loss Lack of sleep can be a hidden saboteur in your weight loss journey. When you skimp on rest, your body’s hormone levels get thrown out of balance. This leads to increased hunger and cravings. Cortisol, the stress hormone, spikes when you're tired. Elevated cortisol can lead to fat accumulation, particularly around the belly area. Your metabolism may also slow down due to insufficient sleep. How Many Hours of Sleep Do You Need? Sleep needs can vary greatly from person to person. While the general recommendation suggests 7 to 9 hours of sleep for adults, some may thrive on slightly less or need a bit more. Age plays a significant role in determining how much rest you require. Children and teenagers typically need more than adults due to their growth and development phases. The Link Between Stress and Sleep (and How it Affects Weight Loss) Stress and sleep have a complicated relationship. When stress levels rise, the body produces cortisol, a hormone that can wreak havoc on your weight loss journey. High cortisol can increase appetite and cravings for unhealthy foods. With a mind racing from daily worries, falling asleep becomes challenging. Poor sleep quality further compounds stress levels. It creates a vicious cycle—stress disrupts sleep, while lack of rest intensifies stress. The Role of Exercise in Improving Sleep (and Weight Loss) Moreover, regular exercise helps regulate your circadian rhythm. This internal clock dictates when you feel awake or sleepy. By sticking to a consistent workout schedule, you're training your body to recognize when it's time to rest. In addition, working out burns calories and boosts metabolism. This creates an optimal environment for weight loss by promoting fat burning even while you sleep.  Conclusion: Prioritizing Sleep for Successful Weight Loss Sleep is often overlooked in the pursuit of weight loss. However, its role cannot be underestimated. Quality rest helps regulate hormones that control appetite and metabolism. When you prioritize sleep, you're not just giving your body a chance to recharge; you're setting yourself up for success on your weight loss journey. Investing time in proper sleep hygiene can lead to better choices during the day. With more energy and clarity of mind, cravings are easier to manage, physical activity becomes more enjoyable, and overall well-being improves. A good night’s sleep creates a healthy feedback loop that supports both mental and physical health.
