Say it LOUD with me Jon Ferrari as GM and Eric Sleeping With Bienemy for Head Coach

I’ve only thought a head coach should be fired after one season twice: Matt Rhule and Frank Reich. Reich is in the same boat as Rhule in the sense that, if we don’t cut our losses soon, the bigger the hole we will have to dig out of. (Sorry about ending in a preposition).

Then comes another problem: our bad, delusional, insecure, defensive owner who clearly doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to football. An owner that bashes fans and makes jokes about getting out of the basement, when many of those fans could a better job than him when it comes to hiring a coach. Will he make the right decision to find a replacement? A short history has shown, no he won’t, so we are screwed, it doesn’t matter, at least that’s what it feels like.

Armchair owners. We could have had Bienemy as head coach. So many excuses: he doesn’t interview well, Andy Reids offense blablabla.

Making him our head coach would be great for Bryce Young.

Any HC / GM candidate that says "I can work with Bryce Young" during their interview should be shown the door.

If we got 1-16, everybody needs to be fired.  I don't care that it's 1 year.

Honestly, with how archaic the scheme is; it should probably happen anyway even if they eek out 3 or 4 wins (doubtful).

Maybe I'd keep Evero, he is doing OK with tons of injuries on his side of the ball.

Evero will have his pick of DC jobs if he doesn't get a HC gig.

Why would he stay here?

The way this place gushes over Sam Howell he must be doing something right.

Im curious who do you want as GM/HC?

Like I said in the post, he's a good OC because he's a good X's and O's coach, but that doesn't mean they'd be a good HC, it's a totally different skill set, same reason Josh McDaniels was a great OC but sucked as an HC.

I won't even begin to pick a GM, I don't know other team's up and coming front office people, nobody on here is THAT knowledgable to actually speak intelligently on that subject to be honest.

For HC, I think we have to stick with Reich through next year and if things are that bad next year, you can fire him mid-way through the season.

As I've explained a few times lately when the topic of firing Reich comes up... no elite young up and coming HC candidate, particularly an offensive minded one, is going to want to tie their future to Bryce right now, especially in an offseason that could have a lot of really good openings out there (Chargers, Bears, Falcons, Giants, Commanders, Raiders all have intriguing weapons and/or high draft picks in this draft and likely will be getting new HC's).

We play the hand we have and hope Reich and Bryce can turn it around together, if not and they suck next year, you fire Reich and bring in a new HC who has the choice of keeping Bryce or dumping him and replacing him with that likely Top 5 pick we end up with in 2025 in that scenario.

I want a Ben Johnson type, smart innovative offensive mind and play caller... who that coach will be in 2 years, I don't know, but that's who I'm targeting.

Sounds like a Tepper plan to me!

Keep the HC who clearly sucks waste another season and find a HC in 2025. Yeah sounds great! If he's not the answer now he wont be then. Fire him and go get Jim Harbaugh and give him full power. No more Tepper making decisions for this franchise.

Would you suggest that nothing can change from here on out?

It's one thing to say that you don't think anything will change, but can you rightly tell me that it can't?

Considering I have pretty good instincts. I am very confident nothing will change.
Offense will be just as bad an inept at the end of the season as it is now.
Reich won’t change. The old dinosaurs like him can’t. It is their way or the highway.
Reich is not a good coach and he was the wrong coach to hire for Bryce.
So we will just have to agree to disagree. It isn’t too early to call Reich bad.

I've already explained that Harbaugh isn't the right fit for this franchise right now, it would be an Urban Meyer situation without a doubt.

And I'm not saying Reich 100% is the guy, I'm more convinced that Bryce isn't the guy than Reich isn't.

But you can't do back to back seasons of firing a coach after 1 season, so if we're not going to attract good HC candidates this offseason, because we won't, then you don't make the move.

We took Bryce, we have to deal with the outcomes for 2 years, no way around it.  If he continues to struggle this much this year, nobody good will be willing to tie their career chances to it, HC's usually only get one shot.

Bryce is not a franchise QB he simply doesn't have that skill set. At best he will be middle of the pack. It doesn't matter how much he improves Frank as a HC is just not it. He's literally worst than Rhule at this point. He got fired for a reason.

8 seasons with Eagles

been around Howie Roseman and has experienced solid drafts and FA signings, he’ll be HIGHLY sought after

Eric Bienemy was mocked on this board and others, overlooked, everyone took the lazy approach of ITS ANDY REID OFFENSE and all he’s done is make the Commandos offense exciting to watch and Howell is cooking!

I pray we get demolished today on national TV so we’re one step closer to getting true all star talent here

We can hire the Belicheck and Brady combo from 10 years ago and it won’t matter with Tepper knee deep in player decisions.

    • Adding on to that - I know I read from some reporter that Dak Prescott's mentality is extremely fragile. Get in his head, and he loses focus and confidence. Per that reporter,  anytime a big game comes up, he starts to have the jitters and hasn't seem to overcome that slump. Dak would be an upgrade over Bryce as things currently stand. But Dak has not proven he can play in games that matters without choking. Bryce hasn't had the chance to show anything in the NFL, so nothing much to say there. But based on his history, he's done well in college in the national championship. Theoretically he should be more confident in big games if he gets to that point. For that alone, I'd rather keep rolling the dice on Bryce or set our sights higher. I wouldn't touch Dak with a 10 ft pole given his choking habits.
    • Same here brother, love Xavier I think he’s gonna become a quick fan favorite of the team. He already has gone viral for his country accent, we have no face of the franchise currently outside of maybe Derrick Brown in terms of media attention. I would not be surprised if in the next 4 years Xavier becomes that media darling we used to have in the 2010s with Luke, Cam, Josh Norman, CMC, etc.
