Hmmm similar numbers and Higgins isn’t getting as many targets..

DJ's numbers would be lesser if he had had Chase here. And similar numbers with less targets means you have a great QB. Tee wouldn't do a damn thing here.

Which of our WRs are better than Gabe Davis? FA is about upgraded the roster. He would do that and not kill our cap. 
 

He also only has two less TDs than DJ Moore despite playing two less years. He finds the end zone. We need that.

You’re full of poo.. Even when Chase was hurt Higgins produced.. And similar numbers while getting less targets and opportunities is more of a plus for Higgins then you’re admitting… 

Higgins literally put up DJ numbers while getting less opportunities.. That’s not a negative against Higgins

The Bengals have more (effective) cap space. They have already paid Burrow, so that is accounted for.

If they want Higgins at his price tag they can afford him. The only way he hits FA is if they decide he isn't worth "that" contract.

It's a similar situation we are in with Burns; we can afford him, but is he worth "that" contract?

Again I like Gabe but this team needs a proven number 1 producers.. If you Sign Gabe you better be signing him to be a number 2 to Higgins, Pittman or Evan’s.. Is my opinion..

If we're bringing in better, we need to bring in much better. Davis ain't that. He's no better than Chark.

      CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers coach Dave Canales said Friday that starters will play in the first two preseason games, stopping just short of admitting he made a mistake last season holding them out. The plan includes playing quarterback Bryce Young, who got off to a historically bad start to the 2024 regular season that got him benched after opening 0-2. Carolina opens their preseason schedule Friday at home against Cleveland, followed by an August 15 road game at Houston and August 21 home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.   Canales said he will evaluate after the first two games whether starters will play in the third game. "Kind of going through it last year, we had a mix of veteran players, but [this is] predominantly a pretty young team,'' said Canales, who has at least six new starters to the defense that was the worst in the league a year ago. "I just can't pass up the opportunities. The reps in games are valuable. "[But] it goes to the night before, when guys know they're going to go out there, they've got to make a decision to play football. So it starts the night before with the prep.       You call the Cowboys purely for information, but we don't have the assets to pull off any realistic trade. Also, even if they would consider any trade, it's more likely they want to do it with an AFC team.
