I think CAR covers the 6.5 this weekend

They might be better off without Lawrence if they get the typical short term backup QB boost. Lawrence hasn't been playing well lately. Our best bet would be playing an injury hampered Lawrence.

They need to sit him this week and let him get healthy for the finale and hope the finale wins them the division. He suffered the ankle injury against Cincinnati, probably comes back too early and gets a concussion, rushed back this past week and now has a AC joint injury. I get he's trying to tough it out but damn he's so banged up he's hurting the entire team.

Yeah, there comes a point when taking a seat is best for both you and the team. Favre talked post-retirement that in hindsight there were numerous times during his legendary streak of starts that they would've been better off playing the backup but that's just not where your head is at when you're young an active player.

Lawerence has a hurt knee, ankle, and throwing shoulder....and with his bell rung mixed in.    I think if the Jags play him we might have a chance because he frankly shouldn't of seen the field the last couple of weeks.  Talk about not taking care of your QB.

But the Jags run D is much better than ours.  So they should win on that matchup alone.

I think this is a get right game for Etienne.  They have played some tougher run defenses since their bye week.   If the dude sees space.....he is a problem.

Maybe Burns will get  sack. He's had 1 since October 😆 ......and that was over a month ago

A very minor tiny consolation that the Rams are playing good ball lately and could make the playoffs.   It looked like a top 5 ol Scott gave up earlier this season.

    • To be fair, I kind of like Bo but he was BAD this past weekend.
    • What I noticed was Tmac running free on deep routes a lot. Can we just get PJ or Hooker to throw go routes on every play for the rest of the season? It would be more exiting than this current mess.
    • We're all aware of the frustrating Week 1 for Carolina, but there's reasons to see Arizona as a possible get-right game. While this will be Zona's home opener (requiring the team to travel out west), they were barely able to hold on to a lead against the hapless Saints who got a chance to tie the game up with 2min left that ended at the ARI 18. Kyler Murray was 21/29 with 2 passing TDs but for only 163yds (5.6yd AVG) and a QBR of 50.9 (RTG 108.8). He was also sacked five times for 33yds. Meanwhile, Spencer Rattler went 27/46 and was sacked just once for 6yds. Kyler also carried the ball seven times for 38yds. James Conner struggled to get going (12 carries, 39yds) but Trey Benson had a good day thanks to a 52yd scamper (8 carries, 69yds). Arizona has weapons in MHJ and McBride, but the CBs have been playing well enough for McBride to be the true focus of the defense. MHJ had a good game though against the Saints, so hopefully Jaycee + Mike Jackson can disrupt that connection. The Cardinals also aren't a disciplined team... with an opportunity to put the Saints away they gave up a TFL and a holding penalty before having the field goal attempt blocked. Their OL suuuuucks at run blocking and got better pass blocking from their TEs in week 1 than they did from any OL except for Paris Johnson Jr. Isaiah Adams and Hjalte Froholdt especially had issues as did Jonah Williams. If the Panthers' revamped DL can't get pressure against them it might be worth giving the alarm a pull.
