Read the article.. And grow up teams can say what they want to happen to fans but the reality is different.. Reich main job was to develop BY.. Not win with Dalton..

They literally sold Adam Thielen on coming here by convincing him we could contend for a Super Bowl.

This franchise has made EVERY MOVE on trying to win next year since Tepper bought this team. They just tried to trade the farm in 2022 to get Deshaun Watson, they refused to trade Brian Burns for a huge haul of picks, they've passed on drafting QBs every year until now.

Their actions correlate their words, they were trying to win, that's how bad this front office sucks.

Nothing to be done other than hope the (most likely) bust, turns it around.(doubtful)

Honestly….

We’d probably be better off if he gets even worse and gets us the #1 pick in 2025 to draft his replacement.

if he slightly improves and we get better coaching, we’re going to end up in NFL purgatory again.  Constantly drafting too late to get an elite QB but never actually contending for the post season.

They didn’t say year 1 did they.. I remember Thelien talked about building something.. I don’t remember him saying winning a superbowl year 1.. And reality is they were wrong.. Obviously dropping 1 player into this wasn’t a winning formula right??

And what’s that going to do??

Thats like going to a bad cop about a crime he help to commit..

Well he's going to force the next HC to play Young at this rate.

It's clear he's miles away from being an NFL QB - we have to move on from him. He's the biggest NFL bust of all time.

Yeah here. I just don’t think you can make a determination on any offensive player this season. I haven’t looked at final stats but think he ended up with more TD than INT and around 3000 yards in an absolutely terrible scheme, with a subpar OL and skill group, 2 HCs/horrible GM/worst owner in the league. It’s easy to put all the blame on the QB (which the huddle really likes to do) but I don’t think Bryce ever had a chance this year. He was setup for failure this year. Regardless he gets all of next year so we will see how he looks with a full NFL offseason and new coaching staff.

Just curious, what if our WRs only seemed poor due to the OC? Would you give them the benefit of the doubt? Or ... do you blame them?

Well it is what it is.. I just want ppl to keep this same energy.. Because ppl are making a lot generalizations about a terrible year for a lot of players coaches and organization in general..  Other ppl have been worst before this isn’t a 1st time thing..

Imagine if they spent the time actually building a team with a distinct framework in mind.

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
