How to attack the QB w/o Peppers

With peppers gone do you adjust the defense philosophy?

Pep had the majority of the sacks last year but before TD when down he was causing havoc. So when Pep is gone so are his sacks.

How do we attack the offence? More OLB blitzes or is Brown ready to step up and we keep it the same?

I think we'll have to wait and see how Johnson or Brown do in a shared starting role. If we can't get the necessary pressure through them (or through another player in the draft), then maybe we will see more linebacker or corner blitzes. I doubt it, though -- just not Meeks' M.O.

The Eagles and the Saints both generated tons of pressure without elite DE's this past season. The Vikings and Colts had elite DE's and relied on them too much and therefore struggled to make pressure.

Put Johnson in as the starter instead of Brayton. As much as I like Brayton I think Johnson would fit meeks scheme better. Also I bet, at least early on, we see the LBers blitzing more.

Sorry, I was really just siezing the opportunity to poke fun of Corvey's own use of "corrupt" instead of "disrupt."
