I mean, the Steelers losing was the least surprising thing ever. The only thing that makes their QB situation less terrible than ours is that they didn't trade a fortune to draft their bust #1 overall.

Their receiver George Pickens will be a monster if he works on his attitude and the Steelers provide him with a QB worth a poo.

If Bryce is ruined by this past season then he never had it to begin with. This one season should not have ruined him and should have given him so much playing time that he got some development out there and lost some fears to stop playing scared. He is not ruined yet and let's hope next season is a fresh start with a decent coaching staff that can save his career.

True QBs can't be ruined. They figure out how to survive and fight.

Baker was horrible with us.  He was ok with Cleveland and is decent with Tampa.  Which is why I don't think we can judge Young based on this past season's results.

You can judge his physical traits. There's a massive difference between watching Baker Mayfield throw a football vs. watching Bryce Young throw a football. I was wrong about Bryce. I thought his arm was just run of the mill NFL below average. After actually seeing him on an NFL field he probably has a bottom 10 NFL arm. Not starter arm. I mean bottom 10 arm on an NFL roster. He has the worst arm of any starter. Mac Jones held that crown prior.

I agree. Next season is make or break for ours. He better come out guns blazing and stop playing scared if he wants to make it in the NFL. The size issue with him is rough enough to where he HAS to carry some sort of attitude chip on his shoulder playing angry and wanting to prove them all wrong after this season but I'm not sure if he has enough anger inside and chip on his shoulder fire in him to make that happen.

You are so fuggin ridiculous at this point with these dumb Bryce Young takes.  He has plenty of arm.  He dominates with even a decent team around him.  He was better than any UNC player ever at Bama.  Will sharply remember how you gave up on him

BTW…Baker did nothing here, nothing

Everyone gave all the credit for Tampa's recent success to Brady which was frankly always completely ridiculous. They had a stacked D, OL and great receiving group when they added him. He joined an absolutely stacked roster and Arians was honestly a great HC (albeit with a short shelf life in each stop). Enough of those pieces are still there that they are winning a playoff game with baker fuging mayfield and Bowles as HC.

    • I really appreciate Bill explaining his methodology here because that gives interested parties a chance to try and recreate the results themselves. I believe that it's safe to assume that despite emphasis being placed on WRs that Chuba Hubbard is one of the Panthers' top-5 weapons. Considering targets, yardage, receptions, etc... Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette are also on the list. Jalen Coker's success might have snuck him in there as well. I can't draw a conclusion on who #5 is though. I've narrowed it down to Diontae Johnson, David Moore, Ja'Tavion Sanders, and possibly Rico Dowdle if they're taking into account his production for the Cowboys in 2024.
    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
