They know about as much as we do...which is next to nothing. We rip on them all day, then act like we know what this team has to offer. But that's what makes message boards fun. You get to voice your opinion.

It doesn't take a genius to make any of those statements based on the facts. This early in the year you can pretty much say anything about anybody and look like you know what you are talking about while having a built in lifeline (timing) to bail you out if it turns out to be rubbish.

Sports talk is an entertainment game and a sad one at that due to it having way too many players. Think that Ladders commercial on the tennis court.

The only sports talk that you should respect is from the guys that make book. If you can get honesty out of them you usually have all the analysis you will ever need. Everything else is expensive lighting, makeup, and semi-clever ambiguity.

This is great news because evertime the "experts" like the Panthers to do well they suck, and every time the"experts" say the Panthers wont do much they end up winning the division and going deep into the playoffs.

Schein has never really thought the Panthers would be contenders. I think his opinion isn't worth a damn in most cases though. And he is easily the hardest radio personality to listen to. That voice makes me want to strangle babies.

Last year we brought pretty much everyone back after a 12-4 season and look how that turned out.

In 2003 we revamped the offense totally and went to the SB.

The year before we revamped the defense totally and went from the bottom of the heap to the top 5 or something.

Ask one player to step up and produce, it's the begining of an era.

Ask two-six players to step up at once, and you have questions.

Ask seven or more to step up, and you're rebuilding, regardless of how long those players have been waiting in the wings of your lineup.

You ask Adam Schein to step up and provide real intelligent unbiased journalism, and you're at an Al Davis-esque level of delusion.
