Oh so believing Adam Schefter is now a “coping mechanism?” It’s getting sad and predictable. He was mentioning how people around the building give Dave a hard time about her being right. Serious question, why do you care if she did like Stroud? There is no legit reason to lie and they have both still done terrible jobs as owners. It really doesn’t matter. I just find it funny because this same core of posters overreacted to a picture and it turns out they were more than likely incorrect.
They both have done a bad job so far. Critiquing them is deserved and part of it. Some people on here are just stuck in overreaction mode (like the picture). For example I highly doubt she sought out this interview. She was probably asked. It’s a big nothing burger. Now if the people her and her husband put in charge struggle again, that is a much bigger issue.

At the end of the day she and Dave are the owners of our team and there isn’t much more we can do other than hope they eventually figure out what works in this league.

Lol so now you believe what u want to but before you said the entire front office was sold on Bryce.    Damn man keep your story straight

I said believing it to be 100% true with absolutely zero input directly from the people who were there.

One thing is for sure the story between Stroud and Young isn't going anywhere and will be talked about for years to come. They are forever connected. We'll get the whole scoop on it eventually. This is all ripe for an ESPN 30 for 30 many years down the line. Count on it.

You don't see anything odd at all about the timing of the interview? Within the same week of Schefter name dropping her? Well alright.

I concur on your final point. The issue is they have to show some kind of awareness and they lack that entirely. I'm beginning to think they are just that aloof. Which is certainly possible. We already know David Tepper regards his critics as basement dwellers. That's straight from the horses mouth. But hey if people want to concern post and agonize over a perceived lack of civility that's their prerogative.

It was just a conversation on some random podcast. For as often as you use the “coping” phrase, this sure seems like it. It wasn’t some groundbreaking story on ESPN. Hell I don’t believe he even tweeted it. The only place I saw it gain any attention is here and that’s strictly to mock people on there that overreacted to a photo. I feel some people will refuse to believe it to matter the source. I’ve been under the impression Schefter is pretty legit…

😂 there you are! Find any pictures to freak out about? What about the one of Bryce throwing a pass with his feet off the ground? You had a meltdown over that until you saw pictures of every other QB doing the same.
Let me guess, you think it’s some big insider cover up to make you look silly too right?
When did I say the entire front office was sold on Young. I’ve said it appears Fitt and Dave were Young fans with probably Thomas Brown. Reich wanted Carr. I’m sure everyone eventually agreed with the pick, but that doesn’t mean some didn’t prefer other options.

Lol @ those suggesting misogyny

Are we supposed to just ignore that we know nothing about our owner who is taking a more prominent role every day?  I would have the same concerns if she was a man which she very well could have been at some point in her life. There’s really no way of knowing

What would we ever do without the Teppers bringing music to Charlotte! I remember back before they bought the team, the whole city was in black and white. Now, everything is in color! The economic impact of being able to give the Teppers more money for the privilege of watching Ariana Grande gyrate just can’t be understated. Remember how the whole city was a slum? Now everybody lives in a mansion.

Her comments about  “embracing” Charlotte is as arrogant as it gets. They don’t care if people of Charlotte have embraced them, we should be lucky to have them

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
