And one thing about Tepper, he's made some bad decisions, but he's learned to bounce from an idea when it doesn't work and try something very different.

At some point something has to stick, right?

I really hope it sustains as well. I can’t help but wonder that Tepper’s mind is 2-3 steps ahead in building a sports/gambling/entertainment empire.

Owning an NFL team just checked a box for him on the way to owning a recession proof business that’s fun even in a down economy.

TE, CB and WR at #2 quality in FA.  Outside of that, trade down in the draft and accumulate a couple extra picks.  Top of the first round picks are worth gold; bottom of the round silver.  After that you are looking for copper around the scrap yard.  We just have to be able to locate it.  Meaning, since we don't have the lucrative first rounder, we might as well take the time to look for the value in the mid to late rounds. The more we have, the better chances of finding what we are looking for.  It can be done, we haven't had the scouts and GMs to pull it off in the past.  The Rams have been killing it of late finding those mid-round gems and they haven't had high picks in the past few drafts.

Don't trade for anyone. Not this year. Trade down in. The draft to get a couple more picks. That's it.

FAs sould be IoLs.

Get your skill guys in the draft.

Reminds me of 2010 when the new collective bargaining agreement was still in process.  We didn't sign anyone of substance and just carried over to 2011 when we drafted Cam.
