Probably aint happening again ever. Ive never seen a LB as good as Luke

He's definitely a top inside LB.

Lawrence Taylor (LT) was the baddest mofo I've ever seen on a football field. Maybe not as cerebral as Luke, but that F'er literally scared other alpha males! Like the Mike Tyson (with Cus) of the NFL.

I remember a game against Atlanta. They were putting up crazy numbers because nobody could cover Tony Gonzales. Early in the game, they ran a deep TE post and Luke ran the route for Tony and Ryan threw the ball on a dime on this particular timing route to a streaking Luke in the middle of the field. Keek the football geek! We were all witnesses....

Man, Luke highlights are something else.

Cam was great, he's our MVP and probably most important player ever.

Smitty was electric and one of the best pound for pound players.

Peppers was a legend due to being from the area and his longevity.

But Luke? For my money he's the best player we've ever had. As great as all those other guys were at their respective games, no one was as consistently elite as Luke was. A down year for Luke was ONLY a second team all-pro nod.

Dude was just an all-time great.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
