But that's EXACTLY what is so frustrating about David Tepper, he has blown up a relatively very successful young franchise

The talent drain on this team since he took over is insane

Poor dumbazz trusted Fitt...who gutted this team of talent... Its gonna actually take some time to recover from this... Fitt acted like he was a brain surgeon only to come out as a fkin stir cook...

It's kind of hard not to when he's given us nothing to cheer for. All his deep passes have been either underthrown or thrown to the sidelines (just like last year). CBs are undercutting his throws. His velocity on his throws are worrisome. It seems like he's worked on NOTHING during the offseason. How bout just give us a good practice to get hype for, or anything that says "oh, this guy might be something".

And y'all might not like it but the moment we traded a king's ransom for him, he was always going to be judged more intently. It also doesn't help that CJ Stroud is already a top 5 QB in the league. It has just put every Panthers fan in a bad mood.

He gave you exactly what you were looking for hell yeah

None of those decisions to trade players away happened without Teppers approval.

This team was a hot mess before Tepper took over.

Thus the 'dumbass' in the comment. And yeah, the team was struggling and Rivera/Hurney was stale, but everything Tepper has done (or signed off on as you mention) has been 2 days late/5 dollars short at best and utterly stupid and disastrous at worst. Plus, those people advising him were his own selections.

The failure here is not zero sum by any means.

Nah this team was fun to watch before Tepper took over.

Even when we sucked we were at least watchable. The Clausen era is the only era I remember being down bad as a Panthers fan but at least that got us Cam.

Tepper has been bad since he took over. We haven't had a winning season under his ownership. It's quite sad and pathetic.

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
