What do you mean how so? Back to back weeks in ACC play the game has come down to a play late under review….that the masses all see as the review being handled wrong and in Miami’s favor to thus get the win.

now you can argue refs get plays wrong all game.  They do.  But once it goes to review? That’s viewed differen.  There wasn’t the evidence to overturn that TD under review last week and that should have been targeting called this week.

so yeah, if the call the majority of football fans think should of been made during review was…..Miami is 0-2

I'm confused.

The late review on a Hail Mary where it clearly wasn't a catch? As in the 'masses' agreed that 'yeah it probably wasn't a catch, but you it'd be funny if it was so let's get irate?'

As for the targeting call - I thought if a review took over 5 minutes to make the the call on the field should stand?

Make your mind up, love.

No one is irritate.  That’s what people say when they want to get off the real topic  Review is review.  You have to have the evidence to overturn it.  The masses agreed the undisputable evidence didn’t exist that was required vs VT.

that was targeting.  Maybe you give them a pass for botching it if it wasn’t under review.  But you can’t not call it targeting under review.  Doesn’t matter the time they took. It was clear cut under review.  Targeting.

which is why even during the game dealing ESPN was talking about these back to back late game reviews where the refs were getting it wrong.

You're not wrong but this is rich as hell coming from a Clemson fan. LOL

I’ve always conceded when Clemson got good they started getting calls.  At least you could argue they earned their way into that tier of team that gets them.

In this new era, it sure looks like the powers that be a trying to create a good team In the ACC

The ACC has always protected the hell out of their best bets at getting a playoff team. I was thinking the expansion to 12 teams may lessen their perceived need to do that but I guess not.

Miami was nuts. Then after the targeting botch…..they ignore 2 OL down into the endzone on the final TD.  Not one but two illegal men downfield.

Miami fans pretending what has been going on isn’t fishy is funny as hell.

Miami through 2 games has proven they ain’t good enough for the ACC to be trying to help them out.  They have not played  a single good game yet.   ACC folks too desperate to create something.

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
