The rookie had his first game and didn't hit the stars but QB is probably going to be an issue all year and he looked decent today with the opportunities he had. I knew that going in because I'm of course obviously biased regarding him but he made me proud. It was a first step in proving some of his doubters wrong. He has a long way to go and much to learn but he has the mindset and will be someone the team can count on in the future.

Yeah I'm reaching here for anything positive but something had to be said. He has much ceiling to grow and will

I thought he flashed, ran a good route against lattimore and caused him to hurt his hamstring trying to play catch up after getting burnt. but idk if it was a flash or I was jaded by the fact we were moving the football forward lol

He looked decent for his first NFL game I’ll take it. I think Brooks will look good behind this OL too so maybe we hit on our 2 picks this year

The definite downside to riding out the season with Bryce Young is these other young players waste a pivotal season of much needed development.

At this point I think you have to try to give them some reps with Dalton.

Yeah I realize I'm over excited and it's probably just because of how badly everything else was and me finally coming to terms today that I don't think even with a little O-line help that Bryce is an NFL QB so I'm grasping for straws here

Agreed and huge problem. I also don't know how any of our receivers can shine or have a chance to even if we have guys that can get open this season with the level of QB play I saw today.

Hell even the coach needs reps as a play caller with someone who can complete passes. Every drive can't be DOA if you want the team as a whole to experience any growth of identity whatsoever

Hell give them some reps with anyone.....any number of practice squad guys could put a better product on the field than whatever garbage we saw today.
