We will see how the rest of the season plays out but with Canale's history I'm thinking the plan could be extend Dalton for 3 years if the deal is right and build the defensive roster. Draft a QB 2026 or 2027 to sit under Dalton. We can make the playoffs in a year or two if we spend smartly in FA, the young guys on offense keep developing, and Dalton can keep this level of play up

The Manning family will Charger us like they did with Eli

Legit question. In the present day NFL how would that work now with rookie contracts?  I know the Mannings are NFL royalty, but if a team drafts him, they have his rights for 4-5 years no?  I’d draft him and make him hold out for years if need be just because I could.  That and I hate the Mannings.

Jericho caught the ball and they head hunted Cam. F Paintin’ Manning!

1 year.  He can just sit and re enter the draft.  If he sits for 2 years he can pick his franchise

    • Only very foolish people and they are all long gone. Matt Rhule was a terrible hire and he wanted no part of trying to develop a rookie QB. Most people have wanted us to draft a QB the right way for years now. By that I mean no trade hauls no mortgaging the future to move up and putting even more pressure on the guy we pick just staying put at our pick and taking one and seeing how it goes. Everything we have done with trying to "fix" the QB position has been an impulsive splash move instead of being calculated. And that is because of the Tepper's.
    • I don't think that remark was necessary to convey his opinion. But as far as this new position you are taking. None of us have spent the last two years going around here spamming poo reactions over him and trying to dictate conversation. And you yourself have made two threads in two years declaring Bryce Young a bust. I mean that sounds like someone confused and in need of some level of therapy.
    • You called him pussified. Why be an internet gangster? You don’t know that man. He’s undoubtedly better at his job that you are at his. Are you that insecure? If so like I told Red, try therapy. Sometimes it’s best to talk out your inadequacies instead of projecting them on a kid.
